Name: Bravo
SteamID: STEAM_0:0:454552253
Age: 17
Timezone: PST
When did you join Revival?: I joined revival 5-6 days ago.
What experience, if any, do you have relating to GLua? (N/A if beginner.): I have experience in RLUA, C++, Javascript and a few other coding languages. (Main in modeling)
Are you prepared to put the time and effort into learning?: Yes, I can attend all courses to better knowledge myself.
Why do you want to join the Revival Servers Development Team? (100 words min.): I want to join the development team to better effort my brain into the coursing of learning. I want to become a junior developer to learn to code on gmod as well to help benefit the servers while doing so. I have developed a few servers in the past but I knew little to no knowledge and I am prepared to learn and better my understanding. I do not want to receive a pay, all my work will be volunteered and complimentary, my main freelance in developing is Modeling though, and my main objective would be to work on the mapping/little scripting into Vietnam RP and if needed help on Halo RP. I am prepared to attend any and all meetings. All though I am not very known in community standards I am good in the art of modeling and getting references from RL and implementing them to the game. I am here to learn and inspire. I have a strong sense of ingenuity and creativity, so I think I would do my job just accordingly. I am not really a good player, I can be a good third party person who knows the rules and can help the community. I have a ton of idea's already prepared. And I have a good understanding of the Vietnam War and Halo.
Some small proposals:
- Both NVA/US Factions have AOS area's for both opposing factions if they cross that boundary (To prevent basecamping)
- Removal of the Third Person function, (This will ultimately solve the third person peaking dispute)
- Giving NVA climb swep (Climbing tree's obviously), but to prevent the unfairness of factions give GI the flamethrower class only.
- Adding more models on the map for cover and tree's to better achieve the scenery of Vietnam.
