Bring Back SCP

V1 and V2 of the old SCP server was quite the fun time right guys? [Speaking to all the remaining SCP Veterans.] Just a suggestion, I doubt it will be taken into account but; I think that SCP should be brought back, like the good ol V1 and V2 days, the old maps and the like. There's little to no Competition and RS did it the best ngl. I have some fond memories of the server and im a little sad to have seen it vanish.

From a Development perspective, no. If you want SCP brought back then you will need to go out and find 3 other Developers who would like to make the server.
I will personally not be wasting another minute on making this server after the last time around and I will certainly not allow any of my Developers waste any of their time on it either. If the SCP players wanted the SCP server to stay up and running then they shouldn't have complained about it.

-1 some people who make characters on SCP are kinda edgy and cringe (someone made a person who was secretly a fallen angel who became a human of something and someone else made some scientist based off of a anime girl)

Unlike the person people above me, I'm going to tell you why SCP cannot work in this current state of Gmod. (Tood gave a pretty good reason from a development standpoint, that is it would be a waste of time and resources)
Currently, SCP is dominated by other servers, they're not even serious Rps they're semi-serious at best.
The demand for a serious SCP RP server is not high right now. The reason SCP was so popular was because of youtube and the light it brought on SCP such as Markiplier and such.

While I would love V1-V2 SCP back (Unlike the guy above me's absolutely shallow reason with no base cause Halo RP is just as bad they've had characters like that also) SCP would be as Tood said a waste of time. There is no solid player base for it, and the genera itself is kinda dying because of the Drama that happened with the actual Wiki, and the current servers that dominate it easily take up a lot of potential player base, that are in the end a player base of minges.

Maybe if Gmod itself changed, SCP became popular again and the bigger mingey servers died down for a more serious rp route I could see it seriously coming back but that is very unlikely or will never happen.

But considering this is denied already take this -1 as more of an explanation of why SCP will not come back unless major changes happen.

-1 I laughed my ass off while reading this. SCP died and shouldn't be brought back sure it was fun but people wanted more and didn't like what they got which for the development is a lot because they´re the ones who add that stuff and when people say they don't like it can make them upset because they worked hard for them hoping to make the players happy and their was also the drama which caused a lot of people to leave the server because they either got caught in it or finally had enough of it and left. We also had corruption in factions where people abused their power and even blacklisted people.

Though I would love to have SCP back up again I will need to agree with Cadet because it is not currently in demand and the bigger servers would just eat a small starting up server. Feel free to join Clone Wars though because it is new and personally It's almost the same vibe just without the random chaos of breaches.
