Golf 0-4 EOD Changes and Announcement(s)
Hello everyone, this post was made to reach out to current Golf 0-4 personnel, other marine personnel, and admins to enforce these new changes. I thank everyone for your understanding and if you have any questions, you can place them in this thread and I will respond as soon as I can, or reach out to me on TS.

1. EOD tag is to be changed to G04 for Golf 0-4 personnel

Before we get started, the EOD certification is not being removed from Golf 0-4. All members of Golf will continue to carry out there roles as EOD on the field to the same extent they have in the past. This new G04 "certification" encompasses all jobs Golf 0-4 has been assigned under their certifications. This "certification" will also be in place so it is easier for GMs to target Golf 0-4 members at the beginning of events so we can receive the 100 armor Golf has been equipped with.

2. Golf 0-4 EOD certification does NOT carry over to other units once you leave Golf

I understand some people may be upset by this, but it needs to be done to help Golf survive. I have seen too many cases of people joining Golf 0-4 just to gain the EOD certification and proceed to leave the unit soon after to have the EOD certification in another unit. Golf 0-4 gains their certification to be an EOD through the unit, not for each individual to carry with them place to place. Once you have left Golf 0-4, you are not able to take part in any EOD activities until you have been re-certified for EOD. I have said this before and I will say it again, once Golf 0-4 has enough active players (that don't leave a day later) I will run an EOD certification course for any who are interested.

3. Tryouts
Golf 0-4 will run at least 2 tryouts a week. Due to my personnel schedule and my XO's recent LOA, it has been difficult to run tryouts recently. During the weekends, I will hold between 1 to 2 Golf 0-4 tryouts for those who are interested and once my XO gets back from LOA he will be running tryouts during the weekdays for those who aren't on for the weekend tryouts.

Again, if you have any questions please ask them below and I will answer them as soon as possible, or you can reach me on TS if you want to talk about these topics.

Thank you for acknowledging this post ~
