So this is still a issue apparently. Im being told water in contact with itself can be wet. But wet is the sensation we experience with water. I do not believe this. Water isn't wet.

Theoretically, no. Water is not wet. No singular particle or texture of said particle can be distinguished as being "wet" or "dry". It's the atomic structure and strength of the bonds which determines it's the state of being a liquid. The liquid state has a generalized sensation, labelled "wet" which confuses people.

People who believe that water is wet are mistaken due to the reason that they confuse water itself with what it can do. In other words, water cannot be wet however it can make other objects or things wet. Same thing goes with fire, fire cannot be burnt but it can burn other objects or things. In conclusion, water is NOT wet.

Now one question:

Water [H2O] when in contact with anything creates the sensation of something being wet. But if water is in contact with itself is it possible for it to create this effect on other water molecules?

Good Question. However the answer you are looking for is no. If a molecule can create a sensation on other molecules of different atomic structures and atomic mass, the same sensation cannot be created and emitted on a replicate of the molecule. It can amplify the sensation on other molecules. Since the atomic mass is the same on all H2O Molecules, contact and bonding becomes an amplification process.

So what your saying is

H2O = Wet
H2O + H2O = Wetter

As much as I really just want this dumb thread to die already, I have to inform you.
What other people are doing is actually signatures, it can be located in the top right under the tab with your name on it, and then "Signature".

Here you can write whatever you want to, (as long as it is within the rules of course) and it will paste itself automatically after every post you do.

Now please just let this thread die, I mean come on? -w-
A forums post gets more interaction than I do? Wow, sheesh.

dihydrogen monoxide From what I read is really dangerous but is it wet. 100% of all cancer victims all have come in contact with this dangerous substance of dihydrogen monoxide it also has a 100% mortality rate. I know the US Navy is weaponising this substance. But is it wet
