So, I have been playing MERP for a couple of weeks now, and I absolutely love it. Everybody is really chill, everybody stays IC (for the most part, unless goofing in LOOC, which I love), and it's great. I'm enjoying myself so much, and love every moment I'm online. However, very recently, something has irked me. Now, I don't usually get irritated, or mad, or anything relating to those words. I like to think I'm real nice, laid back, and welcome to all criticism and feedback. How-the-fuck-ever!- What I DON'T appreciate is when somebody tells me I'm not doing my rp right in a quite passive-aggressive and rude way, making me think it's my fault for the way things happen to be going. If it's my fault, I will completely and openly admit I'm wrong, and apologize. What you DO NOT DO is tell someone how they're rping is wrong, and then try to get them to rp the way you want to by making them feel bad. Role-Playing is not so serious as to follow a strict rule set. Hell, the rules for being online and rping in server are fairly lax, but with enough enforcement that it doesn't interfere much in role-playing.
In summery: Don't tell people that their RP is trash for not following ever step you have planned FOR THEM, don't be rude to people, and absolutely do fucking NOT come to me and shit on my day just because things don't go the way you want it, because even my mom's hugs are not helping and she is actually worried for me now.
