Tell us about yourself: I am a person who has always enjoyed the game Garry's Mod. I always wanted to be staff on servers because I love to help out. I have always been interested in creating models and maps in Garry's Mod and would love to create my own. Now I will be 100% honest I can lose my temper if people do something very bad to me such as me getting removed from factions in RP servers but I am trying hard to keep myself calm. I also love doing anything that can help out in any way.

What role are you taking? (Programmer, Server Configurator, Mapper etc.): I would like to be a mapper so I can create a map and see my ideas come to life.

Please describe your experience in the field relevant to the role you're applying for: I will be honest I don't have much experience in creating maps or models BUT I am a very quick learner, all you need to do is explain it to me and I will right it all down and read over it and make sure I can do my best.

Why do you want to become a developer for Revival? (One Paragraph Min.): I would LOVE to become a developer for Revival Servers because I have been with this community for a long time and I would love to do what ever I can to help out and make the community grow. I have a LOT of free time so I thought maybe I can do something to help out the only community I care about. I have always been interested in map making and model making and would love to learn how to create both of those. I would also love to become a developer because I would like to have something to do in my spare time that will actually help people. Another reason for wanting to become a developer is because I am a hard worker and will do my part to make sure that we have good maps. The last reason I would like to become a developer is because (like I stated above) I would love to learn how this all works and maybe I can start making my own things. Being a developer sounds like a really fun and interesting thing I can do with my spare time I am always exited to learn new things and I would love to become a developer for this WONDERFUL community.

What can you bring to the development team?: What I can bring to the development team is hard work. I will do whatever I need to do whenever I am told to do so. I will not just get into the middle of creating something and just give up half way I will make sure that I get my job done and that is a promise.

Any extra information please add it here: I would like to state again the fact that I have no experience but I am an EXTREMELY quick learner and I will be sure to take notes and study and test to make sure I understand 100% on what I am required to do.​

So, you are applying for the role mapper and right off the bat I will tell you that this role has expectations that come with it right out of the gate. But I will give my input as a prior Developer... In this job, we require those interested to come out of the gate with experience. Yes, we do sometimes teach people who are interested in development the basics and leave the rest to them but you are interested in Mapping. This is something that you would be paid for, this is not a normal development job. To become a mapper you must come out of the gate with experience as well as most other development jobs.

Mapper:
* Must understand the concepts of Hammer
* Must be able to edit maps without issue

As Kraken states above, mappers are elite jobs that have a extremely high quota and standard. You do not show any proof of work whatsoever. Take the time to learn how to make quality maps and show your work, then make an application.

You, unfortunately, don't have any experience in this field.
And take it from a quick learner; developing in any form takes some serious hard work and dedication, even as a quick learner.
Between being a GM and learning how to dev, you won't be able to do it right off the bat.
