Reapers are pilots, you don't need weapons if you're a competent pilot.

Reapers are pilots, you don't need weapons if you're a competent pilot.
But in events, regrettably, there are moments and time where constraints prevent pilots from being constantly in the air. As much as it sucks, that’s just how it is sometimes. In regards to Reapers as an unit in character, Reaper pilots are better trained than other pilots in almost all skills, including firearms training.
