What forum experience do you have? (Please specify what communities you have worked for and what you had to do): I was a staff director and CEO. I am familiar with how everything works here.
Have you ever been banned from the Shout Box or forums, and have you been warned for anything on the forums?: Never.
Tell us about yourself (1 paragraph minimum): Well... I became a part of the community ever since NN. I worked my way from a T-Mod to Head Admin. Then the whole split happened with NN. Then we became Revival Servers. I then got promoted to Server Manager of Vietnam, then shortly after that I went to Staff Director. I have been apart of this community for well over a year. I had to take a break from the community for months due to IRL stuff. But there really isnt much about me that needs to be told.
Why do you wish to join the forum staff team? (50 words minimum): I just really miss the community. I want to come back in a way. I really like Revival Servers and the people in it. I've always wanted to help out with things. Even the little things. If you chose for me to become staff on the forums I'm sure you wouldn't regret your decision.
What can you bring to the Forum Staff? (80 words minimum): I can bring better decision making to the Forum Staff. I can bring unbiased opinions and decisions. I am all about being professional in any way even in the worst of situations like a player being very disrespectful. I can bring more knowledge to the Staff Team and help out others when needed. I can also bring Dedication to the forum staff team. Dedication is the most important thing to have within a staff team. Without dedication you have nothing to lean on. Without it everything falls apart.
Why should you be picked over other applicants? (80 words minimum): I am very experienced with handling situations server and forums sided. I am really not biased in situations. I always look at both sides before making a complete decision. I am very dedicated with what I do. I also know my boundaries and when I need help or need to chill out in a situation. I don't get "Triggered" over stupid things. I do get irritated but I always keep my cool and be professional. To sum it up, I am very experienced, and I am very dedicated.
Do you staff on any other servers?: No.
How active will you be on the forums? (Realistically): I have two monitors while I'm playing a game I can have the forums up on the other screen.
Do you go to school/college/university? (For activity purposes): No
How active will you be on the community’s TS?: Everyday
Do you meet all of the requirements?: Yes.
Situational questions:
1. You get on the forums to find out two sides arguing and fighting over something that really isn't clear what it may be what do you do? (50 words recommended)
Many solutions to this. I would first tell them to knock it off and explain the situation to me so hopefully I can find out a simple solution to this. If they continue to argue. I would give them another warning and tell them to take it to PM's or they will be muted.
2. You are looking through a few threads and find some non-SFW (Safe for Work) words used in a post, what do you do? (Normal Swearing is OK I mean harsh profanity) (50word recommended)
I would edit the post and mark out those words and then contact the person who posted the thread asking him to reword his post in a way for it to be SFW
3. If you are also staff for a server as a mod and the SM is being verbally abusive to people in the shoutbox using racial slurs and calling them any sort of unpleasant names, what would you do? (50 word recommended)
You have a higher jurisdiction when it comes to forums. You need to tell the SM to stop or he will be muted. If it is a SM that is doing this you should also contact the Staff Director so that he/she is informed of this situation.
4. What would you do if someone (player/staff and/or yourself) is being harassed on the forums? (80 word recommended)
If you are being harassed VIA forums contact another forum staff to handle the situation. Handling situations that you are involved in could result in a biased decision. Having a 3rd person come in to handle the situation would be the best decision in my eyes. However; if another player is being harassed by another player I would step in and contact the person that is harassing to put an end to it. I do not tolerate harassment in this community. If it continues I would ban the harasser for a reasonable time and send him a message saying the exact reason why he was banned.
