As active as I can, Im usually on at least every other day

Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words):

I already have experience working with the GM team and making events for the server. I was a full gm for a long while, and was even offered a promotion to senior GM which i denied because I did not believe I deserved it. I have lot of experience using gmod and the resources that GMs have at their disposal. I will also still try to the best of my ability to ensure that my events are as javelin free as possible. I have years of experience in role playing, and am not opposed to crafting long form campaigns with plenty of detail.

How do you plan to benefit the server? (50+ words):

I want to make quality, entertaining events for the entire playerbase to enjoy. As I said before, I have previous experience with being a GM on the server. I may have oofed up a few times back then, but ive learned from my mistakes and I intend to make far better events in the future than I had in the past. This server has given a lot to me, and I'd like to have the opportunity to give back.

!hp (player) (value): Set a certain players value to a certain amount
!noclip (player): Causes a player to noclip (v to stop)
!give (player) (item id): Gives a player a weapon

!freeze (player): Freezes a player into place
!menu: Brings up the menu
!god (player): Makes a player invincible
!slay (player): secretly kills someone with the "world"

What is In character and what is Out of character?

In Character (IC) are actions and words that are considered relevant to the roleplay, while OOC is Out of Character, and is usually reserved for general friend conversation or anything that relates to the "real world"

What is the purpose of a Game Maker?

To craft narratives and events that keep the playerbase immersed and entertained.

Give us a full event idea you have. ( 3 Paragraphs )

The narrative begins when a slipspace rupture is detected near the station, and a heavily damaged civilian transport is pulled into the local space around the Resurrection. Communication with the transport yields nothing, with no sign that anyone aboard the ship is receiving a signal. After suggesting from someone, the transport is towed towards one of the hangar bays for inspection and repairs. Upon inspection, it is revealed that the transport is old, its service number dating back to a commission date of the late 2390s. Upon opening the ship to inspect its cargo, I will rp and feed information about the ship and its contents to whoever is inspecting it. It will be revealed that this ship has roughly 30 occupants, all assumed to be from the same time period as the ship that had pulled them here. Hopefully someone will decide to try pulling one of the occupants from cryosleep in order to speak with them.

The man out of time will awaken with confusion, looking around to observe his strange, new surroundings. After taking a moment to shrug off the effects of long-term cryosleep, the man will speak with (most likely) ONI operatives, or some other high ranking brass. As he speaks, he will give backstory on himself and the other occupants of his ship, informing his interview that he is indeed a man from the 24th century, who, for whatever circumstances (he would remain cryptic for the time being, offering only surface level information about himself and how he got here), was pulled into some sort of slipspace anomaly, and was left there along with the crew of his transport. Due to the unthinkably long amount of time that he believed that they would be left there, he made the decision, almost 200 years ago, to have himself and his crew put themselves down for an indeterminably long cryosleep, hoping to one day be found and resuscitated. Other tidbits of exposition will be delivered, but ooc im still working some of that out and I dont like giving away too many spoilers.

Now, as the man is being interviewed, for completely unrelated reasons (just a coincidence so that it can be used as a useful plot device) A UNSC frigate will arrive at the station in order to request a routine resupply and checkup. It will dock at the hangar bay next to the hangar that the transport had been brought to, and some passive rp between the people on the station and the docked frigate will commence while the higher ups deal with the freezer people. As the interview reaches its conclusion, the man will ask to return to his ship to assist in the resuscitation of his people. After reaching the ship, the man will make any and every excuse that he can to remain near his ship, and insist that no one else but him board it. Once he does, the ship will immediately spring to life, all systems suddenly ready before it pulls away from the station, and moves to dock with the nearby frigate. Once the transport had docked with the frigate, radio comms from the frigate will begin to be heard over an open frequency (voice amp), announcing that unknown personnel had boarded the ship, and that they were making short work of any security or military personnel they came across. In just a few minutes, an announcement that they had reached the bridge will be made, before comms of the ship are cut off. Shortly after the station AI or whatever (I will talk with other gms about this bit) will announce that the nearby ship had activated the translight drive, and will close the doors to the hangars in order to ensure that the slipspace rupture did not cause extreme damage to the interior of the station and kill the occupants in the hangar bay. As the ship makes its jump, power will be knocked out to the station and communications will be lost for a moment, giving the ship juuust enough time to escape.

After the ship had made its escape, the nearby slipspace rupture would damage the station to enough of a degree that leaving it to pursue would be out of the question. Engineers will have their fair share of repair rp while ONI collects the scraps of the now heavily damaged civilian transport for study as to who the people on that ship were. Most of the ship would have been destroyed in the close-proximity slipspace rupture, but they will recover enough information to discover one thing: Whoever these people were, they were associated with ONI, but the ONI from the 24th century.

Yes yes I know this is more of a mini event but its really more of a jumping off point for a campaign, which requires a fair amount of exposition. I intend to make my events more narrative based rather than combat and explosion based.

I, Bolero agree and understand that i am not staff, and it is not my job to do staff duties, unless there is 0 staff on I will not use my commands unless needed. I also agree that i will not noclip/abuse my powers.

I, Bolero swear to uphold the server rules, and enforce them.And to stay within the limits and rights given to me by my assigned rank within GM's.And to keep a calm head and clear judgement when dealing with staff and or players, in order to ensure fairness to all who join the server.


And that if I Bolero am found in violation of the rules i swore to uphold, and of this contract that I can and will be removed from GM's and or staff and forever barred from Re-Applying, along with any other Consequences that are deemed necessary.
