Can someone slightly (Might be more than Slightly) catch me up?

I've been out for about 2 months and looking around at forums some things seem changed. Regarding being away with final tests, studying, tieing some loose at school; and with relatives visiting (whom haven't seen in ~5 years) I think I might have some sympathy in my confusion. Continuing to the current topic, I've checked around on the forums as a refreshing on my character's lore and position I looked at thee character application tread. I noticed (as of June 15th) the oldest application is April 20. I'm slightly concerned as of now that looking at newer apps I noticed my race (Turian) would be required to make a request/app to be. My main concern is if i can continue to use my character. I also noticed that there is some confusion on date and I can't seem to find any evidence of trace of the previous roster. Also 1/2 a day spent in PAC would be quite a waste if my character is gone.

In comments I may prefer just a link to a roster, some answers, if Vitrius still exists, and the date.
Please no arguments just slight disagreements.
Post message, if the time is post ME3, can I be a Merc Geth? supporting this would be that the new Eden (based on the server's lore) recruited people from most paths of life such as a mercenary for a crew

I will return to the server one I am a bit updated and make a new recruit if required.

Thanks for the information! but do you have an idea of where my character app might be? I still need a bit of a resource for questions. For now I will RP with what I have remembered.

Noticing in the polls someone wants to learn more in pac, I can teach you a bit and a good resource is https://www.youtube.com/user/UltimatePac3. But something good to first start with is key binds and outfit creating with the bone merge option.
