What forum experience do you have? (Please specify what communities you have worked for and what you had to do): I don't have any forum staffing experience but I want to learn.
Have you ever been banned from the Shout Box or forums, and have you been warned for anything on the forums?: No.
Tell us about yourself (1 paragraph minimum): I am 14, I live in [REDACTED] Illinois. My Full name is Dominic Denton. I try to do my hardest at things that I enjoy, such as staffing. I like hanging out with my friends and playing video games. I first got into the SCP universe when I was about 12 or 13, and after I learned about the first SCP (049) I was hooked and I went around trying to find out all I could know. I got into SCP RP a few months ago and I immediately fell in love with revival servers. It was my favorite SCP RP server and eventually I left the others to join exclusively this one. I enjoyed myself thoroughly on this server, I still do, and I eventually applied for staff. I got accepted and about two weeks later. Here I am righting this application.
Why do you wish to join the forum staff team? (50 words minimum): Because, I want to help with the server in moderating and watching the forums. I personally would love to be forum staff because it seems like a pretty serious job. And I also believe that I could make some more friends through forums staffing.
What can you bring to the Forum Staff? (80 words minimum): I am very active on the forums regularly commenting on applications and logs. I am very dedicated to any goal and cause that I set my mind to, which in this case would be forum staffing. I try to bring my best work ethic and attitude whenever I am doing a job which usually helps other people be a bit better at their jobs when their colleagues are doing their's.
Why should you be picked over other applicants? (80 words minimum): I believe that I will make a good candidate because I have enthusiasm and I believe that I could realistically help the server in moderating the forums. I also am very loyal to this server which is why I wanted to apply in the first place because I LOVE IT. It's awesome, the people in game and on the forums, even on the teamspeak are great and awesome people. Sure there are a few bumps but it's still an amazing server and I know that I want to help it in any way that I can. Which is why I am applying for forums staff because I am dedicated and loyal to the server.
Do you staff on any other servers?: I am currently a Moderator on Revival Servers SCP RP.
How active will you be on the forums? (Realistically): a few hours a day if I can.
Do you go to school/college/university? (For activity purposes): I do go to school and I go from. 8:00 AM CST to 3:05 PM CST
How active will you be on the community’s TS?: I am usually on it all the time talking with people. So about as active as I can be on the server.
Do you meet all of the requirements?: Not the age limit, sorry.
Situational questions:
1. You get on the forums to find out two sides arguing and fighting over something that really isn't clear what it may be what do you do? (50 words recommended): I would ask them to explain what they are arguing about. If they can not provide a clear answer then I would have them drop the subject and stop arguing for no apparent reason.
2. You are looking through a few threads and find some non-SFW (Safe for Work) words used in a post, what do you do? (Normal Swearing is OK I mean harsh profanity) (50word recommended): I would give them 24 hours to change it, if they fail to do so I will delete the post.
3. If you are also staff for a server as a mod and the SM is being verbally abusive to people in the shoutbox using racial slurs and calling them any sort of unpleasant names, what would you do? (50 word recommended) I would immediately tell him off and ask him to stop. If he failed to do so I will attempt to get him comm banned temporarily for toxicity. If he comes back and continues I'll try to get him permanently comm banned, again for toxicity.
4. What would you do if someone (player/staff and/or yourself) is being harassed on the forums? (80 word recommended): I would make sure the person being harassed is okay first off. Next I would immediately make sure that the person responsible for the harassment is going to be punished. The punishment would depend on the harassment. However Sexual and Racial harassment won't be tolerated under ANY circumstances.
