Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) : Livitoria Gideon was raised like any other Turian would be, the colony she was raised on was on the rim of the Hierarchy's control, so she opted with her parent's carapace markings due to her colony having no specific style. Her father and mother were both engineers, so her future was basically already set in stone. Once her conscription came around, she already had basic knowledge of engineering and was conscripted into the Second Defense Fleet.
Her service went as planned aside from an injury during a training exercise that left her with a stutter, loss of one eye and partial deafness. The exercise was practicing the repair of turian gun-ships, and she made a mistake with the wiring, causing the exposed systems she was working on to explode in her face. The explosion wasn't fatal of course, but it was enough to put her in the medical bay. Surprisingly, it left no external damage aside from the right eye, which had been removed from its socket by the blast. That was the only mistake she encountered during her service; which she continued until the age of thirty.
After her service was finished, she retired and got a job working on X3M sky-cars on Palaven until she opted for New Eden, mostly due to the fact that she knew that military vessels and civilian vessels both require a steady presence of engineers to keep them up and running; but the pay peaked her interest as well.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : To assist with engineering tasks for the most part.
