Experience with staffing [ULX, other servers, etc.]: Admin/GM on various SSTRP servers between 2012-2021 including LiF, COH, sstrp.net, and 2 others that were short lived. Senior Admin on FG. All servers/communities don't exist anymore.


How active are you on the server?: I try to get on the server when I can, though due to work that can vary drastically for short periods of time. As of joining the server, I am on almost every second day if possible.


When are you usually available? [Days of Week/Time/Time zone]: My time zone is GMT+0. I am active mostly Wednesday/Saturday at night (when the server is more popular), and slightly earlier most other days when it is quieter.


What do you believe to be your best qualities that can contribute to being a Gamemaker?: I have a very in depth knowledge of the SST universe, between Movie/TV Show canon, Novel canon and Video Game canon, and I also have a very broad imagination, and from previous experiences as a GM, I already have the management skills when it comes to creating larger scale operations.


What do you plan to do as a Gamemaker?: I plan to run a variety of events and campaigns, some as one-offs, others as a chain of events linking to each other, creating their own plotline. However I want to make these events memorable, so I plan to put a lot of work and effort into each one. I am a huge believer in making Serious Roleplay as serious as it can be without the constant need for simply running and shooting at things, and I enjoy creating things down to the finest detail, and so these events are the best way to express this and involve the playerbase in it. They create multiple passive opportunities, allowing players to roleplay together without the need to shoot something, and allows their characters to become more emotionally attached and invested in their stories.


What 10 Commands do you know about that are in SAM/Helix and what exactly do they do?:
  1. /setflags: This command allows you to give a specified character a variety of Flags, provided they can be trusted to use them.
  2. /setmodel: This command allows you to change a characters playermodel to another specified model path. It's recommended to use models which have bones and are properly rigged to avoid clipping and breaking immersion.
  3. /giveammo: This gives ammunition to either all characters present or a specified player.
  4. !mute: Mutes a specific players microphone.
  5. !cloak: Renders you invisible to players.
  6. !uncloak: Reveals you from your cloaked state.
  7. !Kick: Kicks the specified player/character from the server.
  8. !ban: Bans the specified player from the server for the specified amount of time.
  9. !bring: Teleports the specified players to your current location.
  10. !goto: Teleports yourself to the specified player's current location.


What is In character and what is Out of character?: In Character (IC) is strictly that, IN CHARACTER. Any action perfomed or word said IC is to only be taken IC by other players Characters, and must be close to realism as possible, nothing goofy or in a trolling manner. Out Of Character (OOC) is anything said or done by the players themselves to other players, not relating to their Characters whatsoever.


Do you believe you are able to work with a myriad of different people, some of which may have different opinions than yours?: Yes, I have yet to meet many of the other GM's and Staff, but I am fully willing to embrace or adapt to everyone else's opinions and differences in ways of doing things.


What do you believe the job of a Gamemaker entails?: To provide the playerbase with interactive events and keep roleplay flowing, wether it be small detailed passive roleplay events or large scale action packed event, or even small personal situations between larger events to keep players active and interested. They not only give the players a motive to actually stay on and roleplay, but it just makes everything more fun.


Give us a full event idea that you have. [3+ Paragraphs]:

Whilst the ship travels through space, Fleet recieve a distress signal coming from a friendly Federation vessel near the border of the AQZ, its IFF indicating it's a ship similar to their own, though outfitted for research and development instead of troop deployment. Fleet send the information to brass and request further instructions which soon arrive. Their instructions being to immediately alter course and rendezvous with the friendly vessel. Upon arriving within visual range of the vessel, Fleet can see that the vessel is completely dark, but unscathed, simply adrift in space. Fleet then attempts to hail them, to no avail, but notices one hangar door is sat open. The Mobile Infantry is then summoned to the Briefing Room and tasked with boarding the now seemingly derelict ship to figure out what their situation is and to check for any sign of life.

They deploy via dropship to the already open hangar which houses what appears to be a badly damaged and scrapped dropship like their own, and disembark to find the inside of the ship dark and powered down, with no immediate sign of life. (Drop Commander will then decide wether to stay as one group or split up). After pulling up schematics, Fleet/Military Intelligence will then guide the boarding party towards the ships reactor to restore power while figuring out what happened. (If split up, the second group will make their way towards the ship's bridge to find the either the ship's Captain, or the Black Box.) After venturing deeper into the ship, a few corpses start to appear, their cause of death looking to be gunshots or stab. Various distant noises will echo in the halls, creating suspense. The Mobile Infantry will continue onto the reactor, finding it damaged somewhat, but still working, and restore power. (If split up, the second group would find the bridge to be near empty, though also hear suspicious noises both near and far. They will then find and extract the Black Box as required.)

As the ship powers back up, the boarding party are suddenly met with resistance; A group of very well-equipped seperatist/mercenary types try to corner the Infantry, but are eventually pushed back. (If split up, the bridge group would find a PDA recording from prior to the incident regarding the apprehension of a traitor on-board, who had leaked information to an unknown organization that the ship itself had been carrying a prototype weapon.) The boarding party would fight their way back to the hangar, finding out that the 'scrapped' dropship from before was infact completely intact, just retrofitted to look like a worn down heap of junk, and that their assailants had been hiding out inside it. (If split up, the bridge group would end up fighting their way back to the hangar as well, regrouping at the dropship.) Once regrouped, they will be instructed to either retrieve the Black Box if the group didn't split up before (while finding the PDA recording on their way), and return to their own ship, or if they did split up, they will be instructed to immediately return to the ship before Fleet scuttles the ship to prevent anything else being taken from it. The troopers will then be debriefed, and asked to keep any information learned aboard the ship to themselves. Any evidence will be given to be taken higher up. The mission will, in the end, feel like a waste of time in some way, though at the same time, they will have uncovered some sort of plot by a dangerous new organization against the Federation, leading to more branching operations.
