Seven, Eight, Nine.
Hello everybody! A few of you lovely people know me as Rapteh, and I have after some time of playing on the current version of HaloRP some things I'd like to suggest or otherwise discuss with you all.
Let us start off with subject number one, one of the more controversial and debated ones, that of bringing back PAC4 on RevivalServers HaloRP. Yes. The decision to remove and then replace PAC4 with PAC3 is something a lot of people saw down on, regardless of how high up the order came from. I know I myself was pretty disappointed to see it go this way, and it has drastically negatively impacted my game-play. I know others share this feeling and standpoint.
Yes, my frames per second increased with that of roughly 5-10. Nothing major, nothing absolutely game-changing, but nice. But I feel as if this is only because of the restrictions, and not the downgrade. The same thing could be achieved with just having staff being more vigilant in regards to the different PACs people are using, and people limiting themselves and actually following the rules. By having PAC4 back on it would make it so much more lucrative and prompt people to buy the donation on the store rather than something almost all other servers have quit using.
In my experience, I would rather trade FPS for gameplay. If I wanted nice FPS rather than roleplay, I would have went to a newer game with a newer server, but dumber rules and more lenient and less professional roleplay.
So to sum it up with the whole PAC situation, in a short TL;DR:
FPS improved a tiny bit, but my game-play definitely didn't.
Reinstate PAC3.
When you think and reflect on these different suggestions, I would like for you, the reader and hopefully replier, to reply on the individual suggestions. I had originally written them in one suggestion, but since it has been split up to allow for easier votes.
