Cino’Rafin was born in 2165 aboard a frigate called the Kosoma, Her father was a Quarian Marine and her Mother an Engineer, and Cybernetic specialist , while her father was off on tours, her mother stayed and took care of Cino, her mother designed her first envirosuit and also installed her first augmentations, as Cino grew to the age of six, she was able to read, write and understand most aspects of life. Cino’s mother was a kind hearted woman and during the time with her she took a lot of her personality traits, basing her actions on what her mother thought was right and wrong. At the age of ten Cino’s mother started to teach Cino the basic principles of engineering and cybernetics, Cino was very fond in her mother's profession and took very highly of her teachings taking notes and listening to every teaching she had given. When she turned the age of twelve Cino’s mother arranged for her to become and apprentice at the local engineering bay, since her mother knew the person in charge and was highly recognized Cino had no problem in getting into the profession, she learned well and started to design little things such as little gadgets that didn’t really do a big deal but worked for what she intended them to do.
As Cino hit the age of eighteen, she formed a strong bond with her mother as her father was gone most of the time, the times she got to see him she longed for because she didn’t really know her father that much and from the stories Cino’s mother told her she wanted to spend time with him, Cino sometimes cried because she was worried for her father, that he might never come back to her family, but the days he came back, she was very happy for she could finally spend time with him. During the days that he was home with her family Cino spent most of the time with her father learning how to fire a weapon and a bit on hand to hand combat since her father was a marine he wanted Cino to know how to defend herself if she was ever attacked and left to defend herself and her mother, Cino learned a good amount from her father's Marine training that she was shaped into a formidable fighter, at least enough to get her around safely. A couple months after her father's return she received a letter from her apprenticeship and it informed her that she has reached a high enough level of expertise and had been given a Degree in Cybernetics and Engineering, she was so excited to tell her parents of the good news, and that her mother's teachings have really payed off, both of her parents were proud of her accomplishments and encouraged her to go on her pilgrimage so she can become and adult. Cino took some time to think of it, she has already enough skill and teachings to succeed in the pilgrimage so she agreed to going on it, she spoke with the Captain of the Kosoma and was allowed to go on the voyage, she packed only her most important things and gathered at the hangar bay where her parents friends and other family stood to wish her on her way, she hugged her mother and her father goodbye but was given gifts before she went, her mother gave her an engineering tool kit so she is ready for whatever new position she takes up on another ship and a improved envirosuit with slight modifications , and her father, he gave Cino his Rifle his old M-55 Argus and a Medium energy shield modification so she will be ready for whatever danger lies ahead. After the parting goodbyes and gifts she was given Pilgrimage supplements and a shuttle to take her on her way, she waved goodbye to her parents and set off on her new journey to complete her passage to adulthood.
Two years have passed since she said goodbye to her parents and the Kosoma, she has reached the age of twenty and she was enlisted into an engineering ship called the Satarius an Alliance repair ship, the Captain’s name was Hart well at least that's what they called him, he was a very lenient man and cared for his crew, he did want discipline through the crew and administered PT when any of the crew got at eachother’s necks. She was very shy around the others in the ship and didn’t really talk too much, she mostly focused on her work and finding new informations and intelligence to bring back on her pilgrimage. She was one of the only Quarians on that ship surprisingly and the Crew kind of made fun of her for it. After a couple months on the ship before she could do anything amazing the ship was attacked by a Pirate fleet, she was the first to tend to repairs, a blast to the side of the hull knocked her unconscious but her suit was intact, Pirates started to board the ship as the crew fended off the attack, the Pirates got to her dragging her away until the Captain came with a few other members of the crew and saved her from being captured, the Captain carried her to an escape bot and set the coordinates to a local alliance outpost. Cino never saw the Captain or the ship again, she presumed the crew to either be dead or captured. She arrived at the outpost where she was treated for minor concussion and rested there for a month. After that Cino resigned from the alliance and looked for other work, she stumbled upon the New Eden PMC and thought her worth would be welcomed there. Cino applied for enlistment into the New Eden and accepted. She is yet to be assigned to a ship and is yet to finish her pilgrimage.
What is your character's goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : Her goals aboard the ship are to make sure the ship is in good shape and work on engineering stuff she also plans on gaining enough knowledge and maybe something to bring back with her so she can finish her pilgrimage , she was also hired by the New Eden for her degree in Engineering
