Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) : Romm was born on the Quarian life vessel call the Vidoruk, to two parents Rikka’Heesal, and Jaar’Heesal. As any Quarian child Romm was placed in a sani-bubble until his suit was made for him and he adapted to life as it is. At the age of five he was given his first suit so that he could take his first baby steps into his new life, his first steps he took was for his mother. His Mother Rikka, worked as an Engineer for the vessel they lived on as his father Jaar served in the flotilla marines and has been for quite the while now, his father wasn’t really around that much mostly on tour for the Flotilla so his mother was mostly around him, she was a kind hearted woman as any mother should, but while he was growing up through his childhood she taught him the basics of engineering just to pass the time , she was there for him most of the time so he grew quite the bond with her, but he never really liked the whole engineering; in fact he was more intrigued by his father's line of work as a marine, when his mother told him stories about his father he thought to himself that he wanted to be like him one day, serving the flotilla and protecting his people for the greater good, at the age of ten his father started showing up more frequently to see his mother and him in all, his mother would still teach him about engineering and what not because he loved her and didn’t want to make her upset that he wasn’t that interested in it, during his father's stay, Romm started to talk to his father and wanted to know more about him, as any father should he loved his son and wanted him to have a good future and almost grow up to be like them, so his father took him around the troop barracks and training grounds more often to teach Romm some things about his line of work, Jaar was like any other Marine, a fighter risking his life to keep his people safe and happy, but he was also an NCO, Sergeant for the Marine corp so he had respect with his men, when Romm was brought around the Troop quarters he had a fun time talking and getting to know his fathers brothers and sisters, he learned off them at such a young age on how to fight, how to shoot a weapon and a little discipline of the sorts.
Around seven years later his father was still around in his family along with his mother, his mother still taking care of Romm while his father does stuff with the marines, his mother started to urge him to follow his own path, but she did still teach him engineering and during those eight years got him into schooling for it, she wanted the best for her child, she was always with him and caring for him even times were rough and he missed his father, but she was still there for him. As he was at the legal age of making his own decisions Romm decided it was time for him to join up in the Quarian marines, he spent a month close to his mother doing things with her and having his last parts of civilian life with her before he was shipped off the basic, his father was very proud of him for taking after his way of work and helped him through the marine training process. Romm spends a good two years training in the Quarian marines but had a rough time not following orders and what not, so he was drilled very harshly but soon turning him into a strict young man that was ready for combat. He graduated boot camp and joined the ranks of the marine corp to serve the whole flotilla, he spent a good amount of time with his parents when he was given leave, they were both very proud of him that his mother bought him a couple shield upgrades and blast protectors for his new suit that his father had issued him to wear, his father gave Romm a Heavy Marine suit so that he would get better protection in combat. His age is a brisk twenty one and he is a new member of the Quarian Flotilla Marines, he was sent on tour to fight any geth stragglers that threatened the flotilla and her people, he spent a good time on the field gaining respect from his other brothers and sisters as he fought alongside them, he suffered great loss of friendship as his military continued for a good two more years getting him to the age of twenty three, he came home on leave from the marines to come home to bad news his mother suffered a great injury from an accident that happened in the engineering bay of the ship, hearing this news he was deeply struck with sorrow for the woman that he loved and gave birth to him was dying, he spent the dying days of his mother with her in the Ship's hospital alongside his father that were both there. For the first time in forever Romm cried, even though he was used to the death of people he knew the bond between his mother hit him deeply that he was heart broken for a good weak, on his mothers death bed she gave him her hood, he kept it with him even after her death. After he was sent back to the front his father was in absolute depression after that but he continued his work and remembered her. Romm wore his mothers hood around his neck while he fought on the field always remembering her.
Two years passed bye before his father and him had a talk about his Pilgrimage, he explained to him that in order to continue his military career he was to complete his Pilgrimage, both of them agreed on this and said that Romm is ready for this. So Romm packed a shuttle full of supplies he needed to bring him on his way, his father gave him a marines goodbye and off he went to see where life takes him on his journeys to come back with enough experience and knowledge to become an adult, his first option was the New Eden Company because he’s heard many thing about them and though that this PMC vessel will allow him to obtain what he needs, so he writes up an application to join the crew and so off he waits.

Why were they hired by New Eden? : They were most likely hired by the New Eden for his experience in Combat and Engineer stuff, his goals is to gain enough knowledge to bring back and finish his pilgrimage, he also wants to help the ship a bit with its discipline.
