How long have you played on the server?: Admittedly, I haven't played much on the server as of the time of this application.

Specific Gear, and/or abilities((Biotic abilities, Implants, and biotic abilities are application ONLY)):
- Omni-tool compliant with Hierarchy service standards; focus on engineering capacities with an available Overload function.
- M-9 "Tempest" Submachine Gun outfitted with lighter components.
- Miscellaneous tools one might expect in a maintenance occupation, some possibly redundant given the use of an Omni-tool.
- Combat hardsuit outfitted with kinetic barriers. Notable is the further insulation of the gauntlets against electrical current as well as additional polarization options for the helmet's visor. Superficially worn in appearance.
- An Individual First Aid Kit with the associated Medi-gel amount.
- An acoustic guitar.

Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)):
Born in 2155 on Palaven, Caiius Aetscus was brought up in a fairly regular upbringing by the standards of Turian society. Raised by two parents who, at the time of his birth, had relatively recently completed their period of active service to the Hierarchy, the young child had little to distinguish himself in terms of early life from his similarly situated peers. Indeed, the only things that came to be of remarkable note was the occurrence of the Relay 314 incident and his family's startup of a business venture. His father and mother alike working with former platoon mates, the household of the young Caiius came to revolve around the operations of a vehicle maintenance shop. Exposed regularly in his early teens to the activities and specifics of the shop's procedures, it was rather evident in how he came to a develop a fair degree of technical knowledge that would come into play not too far ahead in his future.
Sent to basic training at age fifteen as mandated by the state, preliminary and concurrent military aptitude tests confirmed Caiius's inclination towards mechanics as his field of work. Indeed, given his background and expectations, the only thing that came of surprise was, instead of being tasked with a field mechanical maintenance M.O.S. as predicted, being designated to become an aerospace vehicle repairer for his Advanced Individual Training. None the less satisfied with his occupational specialty, Caiius soon became acquainted and certified with the workings and care of Hierarchy fighter craft, leading to his eventual deployment to the 325th Tactical Fighter Wing.
Service with the unit was mostly a straightforward, almost mundane affair. The vast majority of the Wing's work saw to unexciting patrols on the fringe of the Terminus systems; fighters making their way out, returning with little to report, and the regular systems check and servicing of the crafts by Caiius and other deck crewmen. This wasn't to say his involvement was completely uneventful. Irregular intervals of sudden, violent engagements, including an attempted ambush by Hegemony-backed combatants during the latter end of his service term, saw to properly testing the mettle of all those involved, pilots, crewmen, and maintenance personnel alike. Ultimately successful on a per-instance basis, Caiius's time in the 325th ingrained within him a particular desire to continue being part of a larger effort. None the less coming to retire rather than opt for the path of a lifer, this desire persisted well after his discharge.
Such was this want to contribute his abilities to things of greater magnitude, he found civilian life to be quite wanting. Attempting to fill this void, Caiius initially offered his employment to an equipment supply firm, figuring a familiar environment in maintenance would suffice in meeting his internal pursuits. Certainly making a good deal of associates and even developing a taste for the musical genres of 'Country' and 'Metal' from his human coworkers, the former crewman still felt a significant emptiness in his work and life, lacking a proper drive as he went about his daily routine. Going as far as to be considered desperate, he began searching for alternative work, taking him to the point of thinking over contracts by private military enterprises. Fortunately enough, Caiius had the good graces to manage contacting an associate from his time in the 325th; a certain Neera Rakavis. Being informed of New Eden, he set his immediate priorities to coming in contact with the organization.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden?: Caiius seeks to effectively reinvigorate his career and service goals, pursuing fulfilling work alongside former associates. Given a sizable degree of experience in his field, not to mention his rather minimal requests in terms of pay and housing standards, he wouldn't necessarily be a bad pick for an organization looking for aerospace maintenance crewmen.
Additional notes: I apologize in advance for making this application without all that much prior experience on the server and understand completely if it ends up getting denied on that basis. Furthermore, if my application seems to be rubbish by the current standard, feel free to critique as you see fit. I'll admit I'm total garbage at backstories and thus am willing to rework such if the need is seen.
