When are you usually available? [Days of Week/Time/Time zone]: Monday-Sunday usually until 8 or 10 CST
What do you believe to be your best qualities that can contribute to being a Gamemaker?: I am a character, and my tiny little brain can make fun passive rp.
What do you plan to do as a Gamemaker?: [50+ Words] As a GM I really plan to just lurk around and wait for people to be bored late night and to make a mini event with a shit ton of passive rp just to keep people interested. I was doing this recently with my Jester Minis, which I was informed I should not be doing. Which is why I am now applying here.
What 10 Commands do you know about that are in SAM and what exactly do they do?:
1. Slap - For slapping
2. setrankid - For setting ranks
3. vote - For voting
4. endvote - For ending votes
5. voteban and votemute - For voting on bans and mutes
6. ban - For banning bad boys
7. unban - For unbanning good boys
8. kick - For kicking naughty people
9. gag - For peace and quiet
10. ungag - For chaos and loudness
I actually had to google SAM for this, and it looks super nice to use. I like nice popup window with everything you need. It's so nice compared to nutscript.
What is In character and what is Out of character?: In character is when you are playing the server and you are Mr. Haloman, and do not know of the g m od. OOC is like this app, something I'm doing outside of the bounds of Jester my character.
Do you believe you are able to work with a myriad of different people, some of which may have different opinions than yours?: Yes, I am very friendly.
What do you believe the job of a Gamemaker entails?: Keeping people entertained. GM's are the court jester's of Revival servers and I can accept that.
Give us a full event idea that you have. [3+ Paragraphs]: Makin this one on the spot
This event starts like all others with a call to briefing. A small town in some backwater planet has been reporting some Covenant, nothing too unusual however the amount of reports means we should go check it out. Then we would load up on move to the map. At first it would be dead quiet, with no engagement, enemies, or any real opposition. Then a few factions would be told to go on Patrol around. This is where the fun begins.
Assuming this is a map that allows it, the NPCs would be set up in small patrols in the players way that would lead them to engage and confirm Covenant/URF presence. As soon as this happens the rest of the playerbase that is held up at a FOB is attacked. Partially by event chars and mainly by NPCs. Once these are all cleared out an order would be given to regroup and prepare for whatever comes next. However through the event people have been finding civilians to extract, and after a few are extracted a message is sent over open from the mayor of the town.
This message is a distress call sent out as he has been kidnapped by whatever forces they are currently fighting. They then have to pick a small squad to send to a tight area such as a ship or bunker, and if allowed it would be an NPK zone. They would then have to fight through a few waves of difficult enemies to get the Mayor out. However at the end it is just an event character and the mayor, and they have to RP it out to get the mayor released as he is being held hostage. One hot head and they get a dead mayor.
Honestly a pretty standard event in my opinion, however I just want events that give players more chance to RP instead of shoot shoot.

I <Jesta> Agree and understand that I am not staff, and it is not my job to do staff duties, unless there is 0 staff on I will not use my commands unless needed. I also agree that I will not noclip/abuse my powers.
I, <Jesta>, acknowledge that this application is to be filled out with complete honesty. Being accepted will hold me at a higher standard in behavior and demeanor. Not doing my job or abusing will result in a warning or a demotion.
I, <Jesta>, Swear to uphold the server rules, and enforce them. I will make sure to stay within the limits and rights given to me by my assigned rank within GM's, as well as keep a calm head and clear judgement when dealing with staff and or players, in order to ensure fairness to all who join the server.
And that if I <Jesta> am found in violation of the rules I swore to uphold, and of this contract that I can and will be removed from GM's and or staff and forever barred from Re-Applying, along with any other Consequences that are deemed Necessary.
