I'll be honest here, the rule that only 2 pictures or gifs are allowed on a single person's signature is a bit of a low number.

My problem with it is that I wanted to add pictures of what my SCP-RP characters looked like (Concept-wise), but I've been unable to due to the limit being 2 pictures on a signature.

See, I play four characters on SCP-RP:

  • Novice Researcher Connor Markusson (My main character. Pretty much the one that I've been using all this time.)
  • CI PM SPC R Naomi Archer (Formerly a part of GenSec until I retired her following that one incident. And then subsequently brought her back in V7 and had her defect to CI after my CI app got accepted.)
  • Experienced D Girl Alyssa Barnes (Based of an OC I made for a Discord DC-RP, who was subsequently based of the main character of an Animation that I won't name here because of the content [PM me if you want to know the name]. She's just a normal girl. Nothing special about her.)
  • SCP-049 - The original Doctor Who (The only SCP I play, because I like 049 a lot. He has a sense of mystery that surrounds him in a way. Plus, his voice in SCP: Containment Breach..... *Groans*.)
And while I would like to remove the gifs of Judge Dredd & the Payday gang just to get images placed, I don't want to do that. Truthfully, I'd like the limit of images that signatures can hold to be raised to around 10 (Nothing higher).

If it's not possible due to server/technical limitations, I understand.

Wait, is this a error that it gives you when you try to add more than two, or a physical rule?

Edit: yeah i see, im guessing it's to save storage space because if everyone had thousands of images in their signature the forums would pp poo poo itself so neutral

The signature limit for images is set to two so that the signatures don't become 3 pages on a thread from people not using Spoilers to cover them. Also, the forums would take longer and longer to load as it would be using more of its resources to load each user's images each and every time that someone loads the Forums. William may allow the increase later on for a price, but currently I am at a -1. 2 images is enough. Also, why not take multiple pictures, place them into a Google Drawing, save it as a PDF and upload one picture of multiple angles?

Alright I'm going to go ahead and deny this. My reasons are simple. People make eyesore signatures plus it takes time to load because people dont know how to use spoilers. Its alot easier than trying to set guidelines for them and monitoring users.

What I reccomend is using a Google docs link and put them in a google doc and link it in your signature.
