Steam Name/Steam ID: Really Not Space Hexy ◨_◧, TEAM_0:1:70044789

How long have you played on the server?: A Nice amount of time, I'd like to say.

Characters name/nicknames: Matriarch Dalishi Dili, no real nicknames.

Characters Race: Asari

Requested position aboard the ship: Information and Data Manager, Perhaps Fleet.

Specific Gear, and/or abilities:

Mental & Physical:

The Matriarch is the result of a Salarian and Asari Coupling, and therefore has adopted some traits from the Salarian, such as her Faster Thinking and Talking, as well as the fact she’s practically a walking Wikipedia for the Galaxy and the things in it. Her reaction time is ever so slightly faster due to her faster time to think, allowing her to not only solve things faster, but also react faster to danger. Despite her age, she has yet to grow slow and dull, and can still come across as rather energetic in situations where such things may apply.

The Woman due to her age and Training, is also a Powerful Biotic.

Clothing:

Dress: Being an Asari, they tend to wear dresses during more casual times. It’s pretty standard in terms of what you’d expect.

Casual Wear: More Casual wear, largely just some black, drab clothing.

Armor and Equipment:

Modified Medium-Grade Hardsuit: A Hardsuit rated to cease various rounds come to bare from a standard assault rifle, the armor is fitted with an Internal Oxygen supply and various magnetic strips, resting on the outer thigh, hip, lower back, tailbone, shoulder blades, spine, forearms, and boot soles. The armor features an array of battle management software to make it easier for the Asari to perform in combat, such as Weapon ammunition software, A Radar upgrade to bypass jamming, nothing too crazy otherwise though. Features a Kinetic Barrier, which bound up with a Biotic Barrier helps. (About 75 Armor IG)

Striker: A Krogan assault weapon that’s really heavy, and kicks quite hard to boot. It fires the typical mass-accelerated round however said rounds explode on impact, making it quite the Lethal weapon. Whenever possible, the weapon has had it’s parts swapped out for Ultralight Materials of the ‘Level V’ Variety, whilst it has also been fitted with Stability Dampeners to minimize the issue of Recoil that the Striker as a Weapon produces. Operates off Thermal Clip technology.\

M-92 Mantis: A Sniper Rifle, edgy. It has a single round and overall is a fairly standard weapon, typically issued to policing Forces or Paramilitary groups. It itself is fitted with Class V Ultralight Materials, however besides that largely resembles the stock weapon in all but a few markings on the weapon. Utilizes Thermal Clip Technology, edgy.

Acolyte: The Acolyte is a beautifully crafted Asari handgun, boasting a nice degree of stopping power against Shields and Biotic Barriers, however little armor piercing ability. Upon impact, the rounds reveal themselves to be a Resonant Impact-Triggered Warp bomb, which have the effect against Shields and Armor. It’s still useful for stopping armor, however, this is made up for this Acolyte boasting Tungsten Armor Piercing Rounds, as well as a Level V Piercing Mod, to increase its overall ability to rend armor.

Omni-Tool: It does everything. That’s basically it, it’s fitted with an Omni-Blade.

Combative Knife: A Simple Combat knife, leftover from their long past time in the Asari Commandos. It’s about 6 Inches, and remains in good shape for it’s overall lack of use.

Biotic Abilities:

Barrier: A Biotic Barrier manifests around the Asari when triggered, granting them some level of extra protection. Melee Attacks still bypass, however Rounds are more easily stopped, it also adds an Extra Layer of shielding.

Throw: A Throw causes whoever the target is to be flung back, semi-regardless of weight. It tends to help when distance is nice to have.

Warp: A Warp is a Ball of shifting Mass Effect fields fired from their hands, soaring towards a target. Upon impact, It’ll damaged shields a nice amount, or merely the Organic.

Biotic Sphere: A Sphere is formed around the Asari, damaging all Hostiles who dare enter it. Whilst within it, Hostiles are also hit with damage not unlike a Warp - At least Upon Initial Entry - In which it otherwise persists. It’s capable of rapidly regenerating the barriers of those inside, as well as slowing (but not outright stopping) oncoming rounds.

Reave: Creating a Rift capable of snuffing out the lives of various Targets, the Matriarch's Reave is capable of sucking in both the Barrier and Health of a Hostile, disabling Healing for a short time, and encouraging them faster cellular Regrowth. Whilst short-term impairing cellular Regeneration on the target, it will also damage Electronic Systems. It can affect several people.

Annihilation Field: This lil’ firey ring of death burns all who dare comes near, but only within a Five foot Radius. Only harming hostiles by default, the field can be re-cast to perform a short-range detonation of their Biotics.

Singularity: The Asari discharges an Orb from her hand, capable of sucking up various hostiles into it provided she choose to. Basically, it’s crowd control.

Characters alignment, IE Paragon, Renegade, Neutral: Lawful Neutral.

Characters Backstory:

1367, A Salarian and a Asari Meld, confusing the minds of Many of why an Asari would be able to Bypass the dead Sex Drive of even a young Salarian, and this impregnate themselves with their next of kin.

Nine Months later a small person, colored blue was born onto the shining Jewel of the Galaxy: The Citadel. The Young Asari was given the name Dalishi Dili, and lived with the Asari and Salarian Coupling as a wee’ girl up until she was about thirty one - Still a Child by some Asari Standards - In which her father perished of old age. She was devastated at first, but moved on with time due to the fact she had always viewed it as Inevitable.

Her Mother was a woman in her Matron stages, and thus held an unusually high drive to raise her daughter. Over the course of the following decades, Dalishi was educated - As will as Pampered - Causing her to actually act a touch like a spoiled Brat into her younger years - the woman attended standard Education as well as various Colleges across the Galaxy, up until the age of about 200.

In a rather wildcard choice in her young, Maiden phase, the Asari enlisted in the Asari Commandos. During her time in the Asari Commandos, the woman didn’t see much action, and thus left in order to join a Private Military Outfit.

In this Outfit, she saw a great many Jobs and Battles, hunting down Exiled Quarians for Arrest, Wanted Criminals or just occasionally performing the odd delivery job or defense Job. Drab at times, it still provided the Adventure and Desire to see the world the young Woman had in her early two hundreds.

In the Private Military Outfit however, the woman had her first Daughter. She had found a Turian who had caught her eye, and the two had engaged in a Romantic Relationship. After about two years of this, the Asari was impregnated, and thus forced to take leave from the Private Military Corporation, the Turian resigning in order to join her.

The Two gave birth to their first and only Daughter - A Girl named Valezilla - Whom she raised a touch different than how she was raised - Her Young age was daring and adventurous, however her new found motherhood ended up with her taking Valezilla as will as her now Husband - Whom had gone unnamed up to this point - Amuso. She let her spend her younger days on the Citadel, around six years, before she packed up once more and moved to Thessia - The home planet of the Asari, and a world she had never been on before.

After about Fifty Years, her Husband perished, leaving her a single mother of an Asari Daughter of about Fifty. Naturally, the woman now in her Matron Phase due to Motherhood, took care of her dearly. But alas, the day came after some time, and her little Bird left the nest.

She remained on Thessia for quite some time, the now more Mature Asari elected to stay there and take up a simple office job, putting aside her old equipment in favor of a computer and a desk, working away.

She ended up having an intoxicated night with her Asari boss, which lead to yet another Daughter. Naturally, she raised it much like the first, however her Boss was rather Hands-Off, due to the fact she born from the result of Intoxicated Mind-Melding resulting in Self-Induced - Albeit Mutual - Pregnancy. She now had three Daughters, and largely took care of her Boss’ as well. During that time, Her Boss - Whom was also named, much like her deceased Husband. But this time, their name was ‘Kelif’ - Ended up becoming Romantically involved. The two ended up having several more daughters over the course of the next two hundred years, before they broke off due to the rising suspicions - as will as outcastes - Due to the fact two Asari had had many daughters.

Many years up to her Eight Hundreds are ignorable, filled with Fluff and Filler much like the rest of her Backstory. It wasn’t noteworthy.

During the First Contact war, the now 800 year old Asari merely witnessed and listened to the News of the Turians and ‘Unknown Alien People’s’ war, although she cared little for it.

Another boring twenty years passed, however the Reapers then invaded the home she had sat Dormant on for so long: Thessia.

After it’s Destruction, the Matriarch was left without so much as a home, all her worldly possessions destroyed by the fire of the Reapers, and thus she fled to Terminus.

Whilst on the planet, she was involved in Petty Crime, which even as much as that she resented. However the rampaging war going on left her wishing she could help, although part of her thought her old body was unready, but her mind yearned for the Adventure of her youth. She used the Credits she had on Terminus to buy every little piece of illegal weapons and armor she could find, by that it truly meant she scrounged up whatever she deemed the most useful.

She browsed through Corporation after Corporation, merely deciding on one Prospect: The Name she liked the Most. It ended up being ‘New Eden’, and thus she submitted an Application, outlining her lengthy experiences throughout the hundreds of years the woman had been alive.

Then she uh, sent it.

What is your character's goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden?: A Matriarch's Wisdom is invaluable, and her many years of growing her Biotics into a state of more power, not to mention her overall age and experience could render her quite a useful solider.

Nooooooo it's matriarch. They would be with the asari republic as stragetists for the war on the reapers. A matriarch wouldn't shy away from her race during this time. I just don't think it makes since tbh.

Going to pull a Quote from the Wiki, my man.

And onto your other point, there's Justicars and stuff 'ere, not to mention we're taking the Fight to the Reapers pretty good.

It's entirely feasible that a Asari her stage with no leadership experience would rather join a Private Military Corporation.

Highlights: Point to do with Biological tendencies, as well as the fact that Asari still think for themselves.

"While each stage of life is marked by strong biological tendencies, individuals do make unexpected life choices. For example, there are Maidens who stay close to home rather than explore, Matrons who would rather work than build a family, and Matriarchs who have no interest in community affairs."
