What foreign country have you visited? And what was your best memory from that place? I myself have not been to any foreign country, but it would be interesting to hear your stories and experiences.

Bosnia Herzegovina

Parents are from there, and we’ve been there multiple times. It’s a really nice lil Slavic country. Just ignore the history that had developed due to some, er, arguments.

Mexico. My favorite part was watching my parents who speak no spanish get confused when I was able to converse in Spanish with people who were native lol. Also the Bahamas just cool people there in general.

Romania and Japan, I spent a summer in Japan learning the language since their writing is identical to simplified or traditional Chinese which different characters of their own system regarding conjunctions. Anyways I was in Sapporo the most major city in the northern island of Hokkaido Japan which is made up of three major islands. I would be doing a disservice trying to describe how much fun it was and how different there culture is than in the United States. I recommend traveling there at least once and making friends with the locals because they know where the best food is hahaha. Romania I spent two summers there during my freshman and sophomore years of high school. My old tennis coach was originally from there and returned back to Sibiu, Romania to take over the tennis complex that was there. The people in Romania are fun loving and very kind. The weather was a little arid as the city was closer to the mountains. Very different from the United States. When you'd drive in the country side you would see beautiful rolling hills that went on forever into the horizon. I can't begin to tell you how it would feel towards the evening how warm it was and a little dry. A mellowness would wash over the town and my team and I would always go out into the main town which used to be an old fort and have drinks and relax. Romania is a hidden gem and I also recommend traveling there as well.
