How active are you on the server?:im usually on every other day for at least four hours
When are you usually available? [Days of Week/Time/Time zone]: usually monday,wednesday,friday,sunday, some of those depending on what i get off can be all day but generally from 7 or 8 CDT- 4 or 5, can get on earlier on off days
What do you believe to be your best qualities that can contribute to being a Gamemaker?: ive got experience putting in details for more text based rps as well as being able to keep up with fast chats while being able to reply promptly
What do you plan to do as a Gamemaker?: [50+ Words] i plan on making events that are enjoyable to everyone in whatever faction they happen to be in so that no one feels left out in any events they happen to participate in. i would also try and make sure every aspect of the rp gets used from heavy roleplay to gun fights and vehicle battles as im sure everyone has their preference for these. Keeping these in mind id also want to make sure to keep a coherent story to follow.
What 10 Commands do you know about that are in SAM and what exactly do they do?:
Ive yet to be an admin on a gmod server but im familiar with
Freezing players in place, mostly used for staff sits and such
Logs to look through previous interactions between players
Tool restrictions to limit peoples options as well as make sure they spawn with the right things
Voting to allow people to choose what they want to do
Reporting so players can contact staff about rule infractions and if they need help
While i havent seen it in this server, theres also adverts so players and admins can declare their intents for in rp interations
What is In character and what is Out of character?: in character means what your created character does or says, out of character is what you as a person says or does and is completely separate from what your character is actually doing
Do you believe you are able to work with a myriad of different people, some of which may have different opinions than yours?: i believe i can do that, ive worked with lots of people like that already and im a manager at my current job
What do you believe the job of a Gamemaker entails?: creating scenarios and rp situations for the people on the server can play out while also having potential consequences and rewards for those participating
Give us a full event idea that you have. [3+ Paragraphs]:
A joint operation is assembled to take out several covenant emplacements after a radio signal went out. Allied ships are down and the covenant as ensured air superiority. The players will have to be brought in through a convoy while under enemy fire to take out anti air emplacements allowing allied ships to enter the area.
Once they have established a beachhead they have to compete with several entrenched enemy positions. A secondary detachment works to disable communications to halt enemy bombardments and air strikes. Then as they push back the enemy several drop pods land behind the formations trapping them in place and forcing them to fight on two fronts.
The covenant makes one last push to try and squeeze out the allied forces, waves of enemies pour in from all sides on the soldiers. With help from air support some much needed ground vehicles can finally make it to the front allowing for the mop up of the remaining forces while air units chase away the last of the opposing air forces should any remain.
