Characters name/nicknames: Rick Sanchez
Characters Race((Be aware Quarian, and Turian are application only, and must have a detailed backstory in order for the character to be accepted.)) : Human
Requested position aboard the ship : Marksman
Specific Gear, and/or abilities((Biotic abilities, Implants, and biotic abilities are application ONLY)) : M92-Mantis and a M-9 Tempest. Standard Issued Merc armor.

Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) :
Rick's family was a rather strange one with the father being a sharpshooter in the Alliance Marines and his mother a doctor. The two were complete polar opposites. The father was a hard man due to his experiences in the military and the mother, never serving in her life, was a kind person to all. The father had hopes his son would join the military like him, but his mother because of her kind hearted nature wouldn't allow it until they came to a compromise of letting his father train him.
Though Rick wasn't in the military and therefore has no actual military training, his father, a retired sharpshooter for the Alliance Marines, trained him how to be a marksman at the age of ten to the age of twenty-three which would have been sooner if his mother allowed it. The father was so set on his son learning how to be a marksman because of his time in the military and since it was the only thing he really knew. His father focused on the use of long range rifles, taught him things about every other type of weapon which included: how to clean the weapon, keep proper maintenance, and how to effectively use them.
All throughout the training Rick still went to school to get an education and went to college for mechatronics engineering which ended the training, but he dropped out halfway through to course to find something more interesting that he could do with his time.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : Rick joined the crew to use it as a form of income, thinking it would be a good way to do so since he didn't care for staying in college. Even though he didn't have any battle experience he was able to impress the people recruiting him with how he handled weapons which secured him a spot as a marksman in the crew.
