Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)):
Yitor was born 24 years ago to his parents; Jum'Faess vas Shuron and Sira'Faess vas Shuron. Both of whom played extraordinarily average roles on their ships, acting as repairmen for any problem that was found on the ship be it a broken air filter or a tube on their civilian ship.
When Yitor started going into education he was soon found to be the slightest bit odd. Having a difficult time communicating with the other kids on the ship, which continued through his young adult life. While he was far from a social outcast upon the ship, he was simply treated differently, by everyone including his parents.
Around the age of 12 Yitor took an interest into the military life-style, from a variety of vids he found access to. Allowing himself to obsess himself over the idea, much to the dismay of his parents who wanted to keep him protected, and out of the line of fire.
This pattern continued for some time until Yitor's time for pilgrimage finally came. His experience similar to many Quarians who find themselves on pilgrimage, he ended up on Omega. Where Batarians soon exploited him for his Quarian Technical Expertise, using him to repair fire-arms and a slew of other items they brought to him. During this time, they'd also forced him to perform surgery on injured members of whatever group they were affiliated with, which Yitor quickly forced himself to learn how to do through vids he had access to.
For around 6 months he was trapped on Omega until he grew enough guts to quickly steal credits from the gang who was essentially kidnapping him, and buy a ticket off the station, quickly finding himself on Illium, where he was employed and trained by a clinic for 2 years until he saved up enough credits to return to the Migrant Fleet without presenting a sub-standard gift.
A month later, he joined the Migrant Fleet Marines. Soon being assigned the role of Combat Medic, he excelled in his practice of medicine, but never performed notably well with Close Quarters Combat, or legitimate engagements.
He stayed in the ranks of the enlisted once inside the Migrant Marines, never showing the skill necessary to lead troops. His position lead to him, to his parents disapproval, being relatively in the line of fire. However in his time he'd never faced a deadly injury.
His position however, did put him in a position that put a significant mental strain on himself. Being in a position where he was tasked to save the lives of his brothers in arms, and occasionally blamed if he didn't perform that task. Furthermore, he was often tasked with delivering the news of the death of his brothers and sisters to their families. A role that forced him to see the most discomforting parts of the mourning process.
For years this was his job until recently, recently being three months ago, when he retired his service from the Alliance Marines to move to a civilian ship, and work as a civilian medic for the crew. He was well liked by everyone there, but kept himself reclusive, afraid the others would question his military service, and bring up his past experiences.
When the Quarians began resettling Rannoch, he found himself out of place. He continued his duties on the ship, but soon applied to both his Captain and New Eden, to join the PMC, as yet again a Combat Medic.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : He was hired due to his military and medical experience. He wishes to simply do his job as medical staff upon the ship.
