Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)):Avitilia Floriion was born 27 years ago to a retired Turian veteran, Potvius Floriion whom was her father, and Oppisia Floriion her mother whom too was a retired Turian veteran. Both of her parents were involved in the Relay 314 incident, better known as the First Contact War. Her parents were both part of the occupation force, as well as the few survivors of it. Leaving both with a sense of discipline, as well a xenophobia towards humans, which quite naturally was instilled into Avitilia.
Avitilia was the typical Turian, joining the military at the age of 15 she served proudly for 10 years as the typical Turian soldier. A model for discipline, and military instinct. She was also part of a Hastatim, a Turian "Execution Squadron" designed to put down separatist rebellions in the Turian Hierarchy. She willingly, and enthusiastically participated in all Hastatim training. Despite the fact that most if not all of her training would be utilized against her own people. Of course she viewed this a necessary evil, otherwise the Turian Hierarchy would fall way to anarchy that hadn't been seen since the Unification.
She was incredibly proud of her service in the Turian military, and her unrelenting zealous enthusiasm for such saw her become a squadron lead early on in her military career, however never surpassing that rank. Her squadron was astonishingly effective at what they did due in no small to the discipline and training Avitilia scrutinized them with. Being one of the most effective squadrons in the entire Hastatim force.
Her military service to both the Hastatim and Hierarchy ended in 2185, after the War on Taetrus. While the operation was usual for her squadron, something snapped in Avitilla after an incident there. Leaving several Turian children dead due to her lapse in judgement.
Due to extreme political blowback from the issue, as well as a heap of her own guilt thrown into the issue she resigned from her military service soon afterwards, instead moving the Citadel, and joining C-Sec. She viewed it as a way to reckon for what she'd done, and served loyally throughout her service. Her discipline and respect for protocol making her a perfect fit for the role.
However, her sensed of duty called to New Eden recently. Viewing the ship as one of the best ways to stop the Reaper threat. While one may question, why not Orbis, it is a simple answer. Avitilia views Orbis as a traitor to the Hierarchy, and surprisingly finds him too radical in his beliefs. While she holds anti-human sentiment, she's hardly genocidal.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden?:
Avitila believes her extensive combat experience within the Hastatim and C-Sec, as well as her discipline, would help the crew achieve the end goal of defeating the Reapers in a manor far favorable to Orbis.
