Why you should be unbanned:

• I can assume due to the severity of the ban, a simple "I wasn't scripting" won't really hold any weight, so I'll try my best to – hopefully – contextualize my experience with the server and maybe that will be enough
  • I feel it's also important to note: although the official ban reason was for "bhop scripting" alone, based on my time in the TS after the ban, I believe the consensus was I was aimbotting/aim-hacking as well
• I joined this server 4-5years ago, and joined the ODSTs sometime in mid-early 2020 under Wildcard's term. I played for a few months but resigned for reasons I'd like to keep personal I'll get into below. In that time, especially during the start of the pandemic and everything happening in life, it felt like I found a family through my ODSTs and they helped through some hard times. I would then rejoin the server a few years later, but I would end up retiring to become a Freelancer (still rocking the ODST helmet since im a helmet authorized personnel hehe) as I did not see myself playing as dedicated/regularly as before, and just wanted to hop on to relive some old memories and catch up with the server. I would hop on every now and then for the same reasons.
• Since the very beginning, I always found myself enjoying the PvP side more often, and I remember Wildcard even getting mad at me for ditching the server-wide PVE events and being most active during the deathmatches lol, but I always played FPS' competitively and I remember at one point ONI STRIKE got really mad at me and tried PKing me or something and then were interesting in me joining or something I don't remember all too well, but yeah.
• I've always had hacking accusations since I played on and off over the past 4ish years, at one point in time I even had the administration team make me screenshare my GMOD files and made me do 1v1s while I was screensharing on discord, which was the final straw before they eventually dropped it.

The important parts:

• I'm currently at University teaching a summer course, and I only have my macbook (screenshot of me writing this appeal, can provide more evidence of me playing gmod on geforce now ofc), I have to play GMOD through Geforce Now, like cloud streaming it. I am literally physically incapable of downloading any cheats, and although I am a CS major, I don't really know how to make cheats, let alone ones that work on mac lol
• I joined this server when I was a sophomore in high school, and I am now an upcoming sophomore in college; throughout that time I have been involved on and off with the community (at least the ODSTs ) and I genuinely would not do anything malicious on the server.
  • On April 12th of 2020, my mother died, and I resigned from ODSTs and and you know, to take time. The next day, Wildcard and the rest of the ODSTs wrote me a little google docs letter to help me and and explained how they were there for me and i i still remember that to this day. I was in a really dark place at the time and as small as it was, it it did help. Maybe that's why I've kept popping in and out of the community to this day.
  • Genuinely, this server means a lot to me, and and I could not, would not, use any scripts or commit anything malicious on the server that helped me so much.
• Quick flex: I was a certified AimLab coach at one point, I reached top 200 in Halo Infinite (and onyx rank ofc), was SMFC in CSGO, etc. etc. Like i've been playing FPS' competitively for years, and I'm not new to any such accusations, and at the time of my ban my profile was on private, i usually keep it on private to avoid witchhunting, but I've made it public again, just idk, go take a look at my profile, linked at the top with the steam id, maybe that'll help? idk
  • I'm currently top 10/25 in the world on the AimLab leaderboards for some tasks, and all my replays are recorded; I'm no longer a certified aimlab partner, but I am still Grandmaster 1, and in the top .2% of players

• I've attached some discord messages showing what people thought of me years ago, and lowkey I know those outside ODST thought I was hacking before as well, but idk maybe it will help contextualize stuff

I hope that's at least some what helpful, if not, obviously administration should yk feel free to ask anything, I can do the same things I did last time and screenshare and whatnot, but again just yk be aware I'm on a macbook, so the screenshare will be me streaming my screen which is me streaming Gmod through Geforce Now

Like old Sapphire Servers DRP under LaFlame? i think i was at one point (?) prolly same cswep abuse, but i appealed, had to show my gmod files or smtg (it was like 5 years ago, i dont remember exactly ) and was unbanned

No, the JvS in early 2023. I have the discord messages and some of the clips from when it happened.



Chris perma banned you right before the final message you sent. Just weird that this happened somewhat recently and it continues to happen.

ohh JvS, yeah i banned for cswep abusing in the same way. i remember ygs was really chill about it. i forget who exactly i spoke to but they said even if i wasn't exploiting, i essentially was cswep abusing everywhere even during combat and either way it'd be a full ban. i was unbanned when 3.0 came out a few weeks later, but i never appealed, so i assume the bans were reset?

So your ban is about B-Hopping but you're talking about aimbotting which is nothing more than a footnote mention in your appeal. The only single defense I see in your ban is that you claim that you cannot script because you have to cloud stream Gmod, which if you're able to cloud stream, you're able to download scripts, so I'm not really sure what point you're trying to drive there.

Overall, you're over here talking about everything but your B-Hop allegation and to me that doesn’t give your appeal a good look.

i cannot download scripts. geforce now does not give you access to a windows machine. it only opens the game you are streaming... like you cannot open any files, you cannot open a browser; you are just put into the game, and you can open the steam menu if it's a steam game i guess, but that's it. you can't "tab" out of the game – there's no windows desktop to tab into. like it's physically impossible to do anything but play the game, you can't even browse the local gmod files 0:


edit: also on the bhop side, i dont really think anything i can say would be of any help/relevance tbh. ive seen other's cswep bhop the same as me even on the server itself. it gets pretty doable after a few hundred hours of practice, and it remains basically the same (the bhopping portion anyway) across servers, especially ones with third-person.

But you're still using a MacBook, which is a laptop, to do all this in. Maybe you cannot do the things you've said you can't do, but that's a hearsay matter at this point. I've still yet to see you address the B-Hopping.

in all fairness,,, it's not really that simple. just because i have a macbook, doesn't mean i can download any working scripts. and it's not really 'hearsay' that geforce now won't let you download any files. if you know what the program is at all, even with a quick google search, it's pretty clear that all you can do is launch the game you want to play. the way cloud streaming through the program works is that they take their own devices, which run windows, and install the game you want to play, gmod for example. then when you launch geforce now and open the Gmod, the device which is streaming your game will launch gmod and the streaming begins. you cannot press the windows key (not that the mac even has one), you cannot open task manager or even tab out. if you close or try to leave gmod, the program will simply close. it's not really hearsay, it's physically impossible to download or use any programs on geforce now.

the program has a free tier, if you still want to say all of this is hearsay, i implore you to open it on your browser and try yourself ^^
