Being an Asari they are able to use Biotic abilites:

Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) : Zuzanna "Vazquez" Maja, is a maiden in the Asari race, being about the age of 270. She stands at the height of 6'1 and is built quite muscular, more so than most of her fellow Asari. Zuzanna Maja was born from an Asari mother and a Krogen Father, leading her to appreciate and take pride in her physical strength. Born on a space station circling Maskawa, she was exposed to many different races and most importantly human media in her very young youth. Her expose to a film named "Aliens" lead her to calling herself "Vazquez" after the no nonsense female hardass in the movie. Mixed with a Krogens lust for raw power and her Biotic capabilities she set off on a path to make something of her pure strength dogma.
Spending most of that youth training under her parents, harnessing her Biotic abilities and assisting where need be, she'd leave home at the age of 102. Joining alongside a now long extinct Private Security Company, more of an escort service for the rich and concerned, then a merc core. Though not fitting in quite well personality wise, she found herself a fan favorite of flashy types, whom along with muscle wanted good looks to go with their character. Of course, with an Asari's longevity, the bigger picture is always on their mind. So when the foreclosure of the company was coming along, Vazquez used the money and contacts she had acquired over the years to found some leisure time of her youth at the age of 152.
During this time she took to a quieter life than guarding VIPS at Nightclubs. Vacationing at the many jewels of the universe, embarking on exotic hunts and enjoying delicacies. Of course this kinda behavior would never last forever and the cash only got her so far, leading her to look for another occupation. Coming upon Earth in this time, she'd settle in Capetown South Africa and become a personal trainer at the age of 162.
Settling in to this much more homely and human way of life than being a glorified security guard, Vazquez was able to live a very human like life. Being an Asari on Earth of course was quite exciting and being a personal trainer on top of that led to some encounters she really hadn't cared about during her more power hungry youth, opening her up to more compassion and love in her life. Eventually coming to find a partner on Earth, she became a Father to a young Asari she'd name Ripley Maja. While not un-common for her spouses age on Earth, it was a bit uncommon for Vazquez to do such a thing, as she was still in her maiden stage of life.
Again though, as Asari being blessed and cursed with their long life, her spouse on Earth would eventually die when Vazquez was 250. Raising her offspring Ripley on her own for most of her spouses elder years, before her passing and Ripleys own coming of age to leave her home. Seeing Ripley grow up and her spouse grow old, lead to Vazquez realizing that only a few people in life really ever have a reason to remember you. So after spending about a decade and a half going around the galaxy, creating memories here and there with a few other companions, she realized that perhaps glory in combat would be her way into the record books.
Resting in a Spaceport for an unknown duration of time at the age of 270, Vazquez would put in an application for New Eden as security on board one of their vessels. After hearing news of them and reading up on several articles, she had decided she'd like to spend as much time as the company had in it to put her known skills to use, enhance them and maybe earn some glory that would leave her in some merc folklore.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : Vazquez's goal is to do her duty as it is presented to her. She has no real motives that could be seen as nasty or manipulative to the rest of the crew. She was hired by New Eden after putting in an application with her past actions and skills, being placed upon the ship as to act as security for the crew in their times of leisure.
