"Well m'first couple of days on the ship have been decent, I guess. We went on a operation which gave me a taste on what I'm dealin' with. I mean, how the fuck did i get picked for this assignment? I can't compete with these guys, they all seem like they're a lot better than me. I'm jus' a Recon Marine. Why'd I get picked for this gig? Best I can do I guess is keep my head up and keep movin' along.. Other than that I don't really have any friends. It's starting to get lonely, doesn't seem like anyone has taken a interest in wantin' t'become friends. Oh well I guess. I'll just ride it out and do my job. I love ya' and miss you sis'. "He's one of the few NCO's in the unit. He seems nice and capable of doing his job. I haven't pinned down how he is as a person but I expect the bloke isn't too bad to get to know. From what I've seen he seems like a cool level headed bloke, excited t' talk to him more."
