So this idea comes with the face that Marines really have nothing else to do on the station. My idea is that every month we change maps, so we can go from Station to an open world planet. In real life if we were up there on that station with static air for as long as we are our health would start depleting, and overall just wouldn't be good. While on an open air map this allows marines to do patrols, open air PT, real life paint sims, and so much more. And it would add more dynamic to the server, we would have different deployments and it could add alot of RP for Naval, Airforce, and all ground forces. We wouldn't even have to be on the planet for long. We could be on there for three of four irl days. Tell me what you guys think, I ran it across a couple of people and they seemed to support the idea.

That's a great idea, but I believe we usually stick to our map as we are able to keep our faction involvement open to their areas. If we were to do so I assume it would be limited to a Campaign, or R&R Events.

I mean we could always revisit the old snow map every once in a while.
other game makers will say "but no, it was taken over by flood"
I say we have our own poles on the planet that we protect, so we could just set up a base down there for researching the forerunner construct

that isnt the only poles base in the entirety of the galaxy. heck thats not even on the same planet we are on now. We have a WHOLE PLANET to work on and base on. We can 'establish outposts' planet side, im SURE we can set up an arctic planet, or any other. we also have the other TFG map on the server list, we can use either.

I don't like being on the station too long, nice that ONI has plants and Zeus's fish. I feel better when something isn't so bland. I wish it looked more like Cairo with taller ceilings upper levels and plants but nope. Prop amount might be an issue too, update had more props at first but in the end they slowed down the server probably.

I remember we used to do such things on the server in the past, there was a time when we went onto a map for an extended amount of time because our main map was being "upgraded" or something in a character sense.

I think this would be pretty neat, but we would need to find maps able to easily contain a player base and our factions from time to time, so I think it would be a lot of setup time if I was to guess, though in the end it might be worth it.​
