ENG Revival

As I've noticed day in and day out. ENG is as most are saying a dead division that's not being controlled with reason as most of their duties are undesigned within the regiments. The fathomable title of ENG is basically being dragged in the mud where no division should be. As per saying this, I'd like to make a few suggestions, some being utterly conflicting to reality, but still a suggestion to things.

Suggestions:
- Give ENG a bit more priority on actual mission usage (Find scraps for FOB, fix something, hack something, etc).
- Change permissions of certain ranks. Some aren't able to do anything as I've heard.
- Enlist more/Rank up ENG personell (I've been trying to get into ENG for a LONG while).
- Give ENG a proper job within the server. Create problems ENG need to fix as they were meant to do.
- Generate proper documents of training, regulations, and etc for higher command to review and agree it's usage for field ops.
- Enforce check ups of all higher ups of any divisional occupational director (ENG, MED, etc) to provide a more sustaining force.

There could be more to produce, but I'm mainly only trying to create a conclusive arguement for ENG and their revivial. I would be glad to take a position of an ENG Leader, but I know that it takes time and work to get their. Plus I know some people would possibly be hurt by the fact that a LCPL with a basic post for ENG will advance immediately up to ENG Leader. Although the decisions are yours to make without hesitations, or arguementations. I place my case that ENG needs help, but I further to see some advancements on the this post at hand.

• First off, bumping is bad.

• Second, the leadership of our engineers and their respective divisions don’t have the numbers for us to be able to provide jobs for them in events. They cut open doors and can repair what vehicles they have, but in the long run, if those people are a minority who aren’t asking for these types of things during events, there is no point in having them.

• Third and finally, a lot of jobs are basically filled and make certain eng divisions useless in the eyes of a Gamemaker. Prime example: black hat techs. Black hat, when it was first conceptualized and implemented completely baffled me, because “Why do we need marine/ODST/Pilot/Naval hackers when we have AI and ONI decrypting agents which literally can not be beaten, no matter how we manipulate the game?” (And God forbid we try to beat the players when it comes to these types of things. Ie. “No, you can’t win because there is no possible way to win, I have the endall beall to technology and computing right here in my right breast pocket!”)

cEng and mEng? I get, it makes sense to me. Engineers in the past would’ve had the sole responsibility of placing down cover, but in those times there was only engineers, with no subgroups. Mechanical engineers fix vehicles and shit. Chemical engineers work with EOD and hazardous environment teams to make things less hazardous, or to blow shit up. I personally believe it’s up to the players to decide and act about what they think is important. Find engineers, and talk to them about their experiences. Did they have an opportunity to do something? What was it? What happened? Did someone steal their job? Etc.

Tl;dr Once you guys have staff and develop a strong sense of self and priorities, there will be more for you to do.

Initially understand this, Engineer's seem to not have any, or at least dedicated, leadership provided at the time. My position in this in the forefront is to gain someone to get put in the positions of Leadership. Supposedly by flaky intel, the only active lead was PK'ed. Now for the rest, no one will rank up, there's no provided asset to gain as no respective position can be obtained, and training/tryouts have stopped. As the moment of joining the server I haven't been capable of being ENG trained, since NO ONE can. Of course, ENG is not needed, since it doesn't have anyone to fix it. If I was up there I'd do everything to reassess the assets provided.

^ If that's too long to read. Give someone the CENG/ENGML at the least. Then hope that someone who gets replaced will fix this. I've talked to a multitude of people with no avail to their own job understanding. From Junior grades up to a former ENG lead.
