Good'day everybody. I'm BlazingScribe. I come here after taking a break from RP after a series of unfortunate events with the SCP server of Concordia Gaming. To make a long and oft-depressing story short, I was at one time the lieutenant and one-time commander for the MTF detachment there. That until the MTF fell on the wrong side of server politics and was broken apart until it was almost unrecognizable. Repeatedly. Between that and some other disturbing events, I gave up trying to work in the increasingly toxic environment and left.
I thought I was done.The steam group died, I lost contact with all but a few of what had been my men, and I tried my best to forget Concordia.
Recently I got into contact with one of the old MTF. He had come here after Concordia, and had nothing but kind words for this community. I started looking around, checked out the SCP server, looked through the forums. My friend wasn't the only familiar face either. I found four or five old squadmates in my first hour. It seemed, almost too good to be true, and yet it was. So. I've decided to try SCPRP a second time. Maybe this time it will go differently.
Anyway, I'll save some extra screen space and cut it here. I'm happy to be here, and to have a second shot.
