This issue has been a giant set back for all of us for weeks. I've put this on at least two documents and the google forum about how it needs to be fixed but nothing has been done. The current prop limit is 25, which is impossible for me and my Squad Leaders to properly train our unit. It cannot be done with such a small number. Also with events, we cannot properly immerse the players or have the necessary amount of vehicles / jet packs for the players. We could only spawn in 5 vehicles in total, but, spawning in a jet pack also counts toward this five. Even if we don't raise the trialgamemakers prop limit, it should at least be done to gamemaker, seniorgamemaker, and headgamemaker as those three ranks have earned their trustworthiness.

tldr; Prop limit is making it impossible to complete quality events and train our units.

+1 I deadass cant even set up a propor FOB in an off map event with this prop limit and I cant even use half of my tryout dupes

Its not trustworthiness, its that anymore and crashing will start to occur. I mean, we have added so much more content that has been requested, and nobody wants content removed. So, we are stuck with having to limit everyone to ensure crashing does not occur.

Then I think we should see what is not needed, because I believe that many people would gladly give up a few addons in order to raise this. And maybe we could change the prop limit only for seniorgamemaker and headgamemaker.

Lets just remove some unused addons. if something is rarely used, and that can make events better I feel as if that would be beneficial to the server to make people want to stay

With my experience so far on the server as both a player and a GM, I have found the best events ones typically that create the most immersive experience for the players. While I understand the server has its limitation, restricting us to 25 props and needing to rely on Devs to raise prop limits it often hurts the quality of events. Yes, props can lag the server, but so can everything else. The reason I say this is it is matter of knowing how to properly manage everything going on. I will say with how things are as they are right now, the quality of our events are severely below average and I think much of that can be attributed the the fact that we are limited to what KIND of events we can hold. Most of my GMs have to resort to just doing NPC based events on the same maps over and over again because we can't create a more unique scene. Again, I understand the server has its limitations but I believe these limitations can be worked around if the GM is smart enough. While I do not trust my normal TGMs or GMs, I have strong faith that my SGMs and myself are more than capable of managing the server with raised limits. In the end, the decision comes down to whether or not you believe this is something that could happen.

It is important though to have discussion to see where each side is coming from for others to have a well rounded vote...
+1, I have seen and done many of event, and it hasn't been the prop limit that bumps people, its scripted entities, un-optimized maps, and a overflow of enemies/explosions. I do believe a high prop limit can be used responsibly, and we can do so without having to remove addons. we would just need a set up of what maps can handle higher props and what maps can not.
