Grapple Hook IDEA/Suggestion/Concept.

Hi I'm Slacker,

I have been noticing that for some of us (Primarily those with shoddy internet i.e ME) have serious troubles using the climb swep tool. I have been at it for hours and hours, Trying to work on my technique and trying to perfect it, TO no avail unfortunately. So I have a suggestion, or more of a Question joined by a poll. Would we be able to Implement a GRAPPLE HOOK tool into the server? Now react to this however you may ("He doesn't want to do hard work" or "It's too hard for him") Which I won't argue against, But the swep tool was made to be essentially Easy to use with some practice. I have done everything in my power to use the tool. To no avail unfortunately.

As an active member of the community and possibly the only person who wishes to see this implemented.

There used to be grappling hooks in the server. They were only given so certain groups (such as Prowler) and it was a tool that people primarily had to donate for. The reason we don't have the grappling hook anymore is because they cause a lot of script errors for people which would create a good amount of lag. Even if it was added again, it would only be handed out to a small amount of groups.

Yeah thats just been brought to my knowledge by the discord server. I didn't know but now I do. Thank you for clarifying.

Climb Swep has some problems, especially for higher-latency clients, but this might not seem like the right solution. In addition to the lag, it adds more content that newcomers have to download, lengthening join times. That seems to be something the administration is really trying to cut down on.

I guess so. Although I'd like to stress the need to change the climb swep to something more universally easy instead of Regionally easy. Don't get me wrong I use the climb tool offline and I love it. But online it's almost impossible to get anywhere.
My second suggestion would be to find a working alternative that makes life a little easier for everyone.
