What forum experience do you have? (Please specify what communities you have worked for and what you had to do):
Over the years I have had the oppurtinity to become forum staff on some unique and cool forums, these forums would include Revivals forum team as the Forum Manager at one point and other forums not within communitys or connected to a game would be Website Forums, and WebGuruBB. With these forums I essentially moderated the members and made sure the forums ran sound and there were no issues.
Have you ever been banned from the Shout Box or forums, and have you been warned for anything on the forums?:
No, I have not.
Tell us about yourself (1 paragraph minimum):
I am a pretty simple person who just loves playing on GMod or any game for that matter and also someone who loves to moderate and help others out and assist them in any possible way. I also play hockey and lacrosse and am a big fan of the NHL team the Buffalo Sabers.
Why do you wish to join the forum staff team? (50 words minimum):
want to join the Forum Moderation Team because I love helping other people, whether this be on the TeamSpeak, in game, on the Forums. Secondly, I want to be more involved in the Forums because I want to help keep the forums clean from the rule breakers and make it a more safe and friendly place for those who use it. I have a unique mindset which is great for working on unique tasks such as Forum Moderator. I would like to go above and beyond the others, I want to take this chance as a Forum Moderator to show my dedication to the Revival Community. I also want to make the Forums a more enjoyable place, like they used to be with fun little games around in order to keep a positive and light-hearted atmosphere and that would make people on the Forums a lot more active in my opinion and I think I could help others with this too. looking at new suggestions, commenting on applications, reacting to new things, helping out those in need and using them for recreational purposes and therefore I feel as I am so active, I should get involved and help Moderate the Forums as well as browse them as that would not only please me, but others as well, which is what I strive for.
What can you bring to the Forum Staff? (80 words minimum):
I am independent. I know that within the Forum Team there aren't 50+ people you can go to for help and it is about making the right decisions at the right time. I know when I can deal with a situation myself and de-escalate it. However, at the same time, I know when I need to ask for help or a second opinion. I am not afraid to ask for help or ask someone for advice on a situation or player and how to resolve it. As the Forum Team is a small team, I believe it is important for the team to be able to be Independent while still keeping communication with each other to make sure nobody is stepping on anybody's toes and so that everyone can deal with a situation effectively. Within my Real life work, it is extremely important for me to be independent.
Why should you be picked over other applicants? (80 words minimum): I feel I should be picked over other applicants
I believe I should be picked as forum staff for multiple reasons. Firstly, I have experience within Forum Staff. As I explained earlier, I was a Forum Manager for Revival. This means I was in charge of not only the Forums but also my own Forum staff team. This has given me lots of experience on what works, and what doesn't, with a forum team. I had to learn that over Forums, or text in general, communication is key, and it is important to make sure everything you type cannot be misinterpreted to something else if read in a different tone or voice. It is extremely easy for us to mix up what is meant over texts or forum posts and so it is important to take the time in what you are writing, and make sure that it cannot be misunderstood to something else.
Next, I am mature. I feel as though this particularly applies to me. I know when to relax, and have some laughs with people, and when I need to have a sit-down and have a chat with someone. While at the same time there is no confusion to others about which situation is happening. I know when a situation needs to simmer down or be removed before it escalates, and it is important to take a proactive approach rather than reactive. I have learnt that it is far more important to deal with potential situations before they arise, instead of reacting once they have already appeared as a problem and issues have arisen. I also can take criticism. Many people take compliments but with complaints feel as though it is a personal attack, I can see my mistakes and can learn from them with no shame or fear in making mistakes. As long as I learn from them, I am not afraid to make mistakes.

Do you staff on any other servers?:
No.
How active will you be on the forums? (Realistically):
I will be able to spend around 3-4 ish hours on the forums daily.
Do you go to school/college/university? (For activity purposes):
I currently attend a High School and am in my Junior year.
How active will you be on the community’s TS?:
I will be able to be on the teamspeak almost everyday for a solid 4-5 hours maybe more.
Do you meet all of the requirements?:
Yes.

Situational questions:
1. You get on the forums to find out two sides arguing and fighting over something that really isn't clear what it may be what do you do? (50 words recommended)
I would inform both parties that argueing is not worth the time and pointless and tell them to PM eachother and kindly figure out whatever the problem is. There is no need for people in the community to be argueing, its not good for the community and 9/10 its a pointless argument.
2. You are looking through a few threads and find some non-SFW (Safe for Work) words used in a post, what do you do? (Normal Swearing is OK I mean harsh profanity) (50word recommended)
I would ask the person to kindly remove it and explain to them why this is not allowed, if they continued to leave it up I will take it down myself and deal with the player accordingly follwoing the Revival Guidlines.
3. If you are also staff for a server as a mod and the SM is being verbally abusive to people in the shoutbox using racial slurs and calling them any sort of unpleasant names, what would you do? (50 word recommended)
If this was happeneing I would contact a higher up to inform them of the behavior of one of there Senior Mods, after this I would follow the Revival guidlines either banning them from the shoutbox etc. This action is not acceptable for the staff members on Revival It gives the staff team and the person a bad rap and I feel Revival has way higher standards for their staff than someone doing this.
4. What would you do if someone (player/staff and/or yourself) is being harassed on the forums? (80 word recommended)
I would inform them that this is against forum policy and to stop immediately because Harassment on the community is unacceptable behavior and they will be punished accordingly if they continue this behavior then i would warn them and if they still continue harassing the person I would contact a higher to have him properly dealt with.
