Tell us about yourself (1 paragraph minimum): My name is Spencer Roberts, and I'm a senior in high school. I am known to be on the revival SCP server. I try to be as fun and friendly as I can until I am needed which then I will be serious. I plan on getting a major in Video Production and a minor in Computer Science.
Why do you wish to join the forum staff team? (50 words minimum): I am joining the Forum Staff team to build my confidence in becoming an actual admin on the Revival Servers. I've also noticed that some Revival admins that accept or deny a application doesn't sometimes know how to move or lock a thread.
What can you bring to the Forum Staff? (80 words minimum): I plan on bringing part of my OCD(parents say I'm partly), which can be useful when kids doesn't know how to spell, or move, or lock a topic. Another thing I plan on bringing my somewhat empty brain since im new to being a staff. I also plan on bringing my active time on the forum since I'm usually active. I also plan on bringing my phone, cause that is what I mainly use on the forums and I'm that confident.
Why should you be picked over other applicants? (80 words minimum): The Reason why I should be picked over other applicants is because not much people apply for forum staff. Even though I'm new to being a staff member on the revival I can be serious when needed. Another reason why I should be picked because I can be really active on the forum as long as stuff I'm my life and/or school isn't interfering. I am confident enough enough to make sure I am not biased against other players, which is useful when your sitting on the other side from your crowd in the stands with your team colors filming for your team.
Do you staff on any other servers?: Nope
How active will you be on the forums? (Realistically): As long as IRL stuff/ school doesn't get in the way, pretty active.
Do you go to school/college/university? (For activity purposes): If your talking about after school yea sometimes.
How active will you be on the community’s TS?: Somewhat active
Do you meet all of the requirements?: Yes
Situational questions:
1. You get on the forums to find out two sides arguing and fighting over something that really isn't clear what it may be what do you do? (50 words recommended)
Welp I would check out both sides of the story and try to get the full story. I would then ask to settle it in DMs and seek out someone to see if they can clear things up. If it doesn't stop then I would lock the topic, give out the warns, and post on the topic on why I locked it.
2. You are looking through a few threads and find some non-SFW (Safe for Work) words used in a post, what do you do? (Normal Swearing is OK I mean harsh profanity) (50word recommended)
I would post on the thread to keep this kid friendly and edit the post by replacing any SFW words with *. If it continues I would then give out a warning and message the person to let them know what they did wrong.
3. If you are also staff for a server as a mod and the SM is being verbally abusive to people in the shoutbox using racial slurs and calling them any sort of unpleasant names, what would you do? (50 word recommended)
I would delete any SFW words from the shoutbox and message them saying to not do it again or you will get a warn. If it happens again I would give out a warn and let a higher forum staff about the incident.
4. What would you do if someone (player/staff and/or yourself) is being harassed on the forums? (80 word recommended)
I would first delete the messages and message the person being harassed why the person is doing it. I would also let the person harassing know by message to not do it again or be warned. If the person doesn't know I would then get some help with the higher ups and let them know what I've done so far.
