Tell us About Your-self(60+ Words, No Less):

I'm 20 years old. I'm a bit of a hick to some people, but generally, I'm pretty fair when it comes to things. I do have a thick accent to some people so I tend to have to reword something to get it across. I was in the US army for 2 years before getting medically disabled. I'm pretty open to my opinions, I try to get along with everyone to the best of my abilities. I'm pretty fair/reasonably with my decisions. I'm pretty challenge driven, I love, overcoming obstacles in my way. I stay unbias as I possibly can. I'm fairly active, I like engaging with personnel on the server.

I wouldn't know, maybe back on the snow map but I can't recall any.

I'm normally on for a few hours every day or Every other day.

Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words, No Less):

Although I am not familiar with the others who you are interviewing for this position, I am sure there are a lot of talented people applying for Staff. However, given my unique background and experiences, I consider myself to be a strong candidate for this position. In my opinion, I could help in some RP situations because of my military background, I was in the army for 2 years before I got medically separated. I get along with just about everyone and I'm unbias. It's also frustrating when a player sits there for 30+ mins or hours to get whitelisted altho the person as asked staff more than one when there were plenty of admins on. I wish to kinda help out the server more than anything. I mean I love this community and I've seen a lot of good people, in my opinion, come and go.

How do you plan to benefit the server? (60+ words, No Less):

Working together on a team combining unique perspectives from each team member creates more effective solutions to problems that might arise. I believe in relying on other people builds trust, and teamwork establishes strong relationships with other people among the server/community. I believe going through the chain of command to resolve an issue, rather than going straight to a higher up. I fully understand conflicts inevitably happen when you put together a group of unique people together. Conflict resolution firsthand is a skill that people/staff can use to become effective managers down the road.

Explain why you stand out from others (50+ words, No Less):

From my military training I was trained in Risk Analysis, Contingency Planning, Decision Analysis, Situational Awareness, Handle Confidential Information, etc. I am very challenge driven, I love challenges and figuring out ways to solve them. I like to design and conduct training and development programs to improve individual and organizational performance. May analyze training needs if need be. I'd love to help personnel out with training/sim/whitelisting etc.

Explain what minging is:

Minging in laymen terms is someone who comes on solely to ruin everyone else server experience. Aka RDM, Mic spam, etc.

Give one example of how you would deal with minging as staff(Give a situation in detail):

Me personally, I'd pull the person off to the side aka an admin sit and try and figure out what's going on. I would try an settle is in a polite manner rather than banning/kicking them right away. I would also offer up a trial by the court(passive RP) if they wished to do so.

Explain what FailRP is in detail:

is an event surrounding an action that your character commits that is not probable. There are endless amounts of ways that a person can commit FailRP, for Example. Staying "In Character" is something quite important when it comes to roleplaying properly. Act like your person would act and make sure to stick to things they would be capable.

Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail):

Remind them that they need to realistic and stay in character. Example say there a marine PVT acting as a Commanding officer. I would try to resolve in an RP way, Like get an mp to arrest him then get a Medical staff(preferably a therapist) to diagnose him. Then go from there depending on how they RP it.

Explain what RDM is in detail:

Random Death Match is when someone kills another player without an RP reason, can also be when someone misclicks or Alt tabs back in.

Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail):

For this example, let's say its an accidental RDM. I would offer the player a trial by the court, and let the court hearing go from there. an act on the decisions of the court aka if its a name pk then name pk, if it's a hard pk the make them go back to recruit and go through training all over again. (sucks I know). I would try to keep everything fair as possible, aka get a jury that wasn't there to see the events unfold etc.

Trolling is making random unsolicited and/or controversial comments with the intent to provoke an emotional reaction from unsuspecting readers to engage in a fight or argument.

Say its OOC/IC chatter that is causing reactions I would pull the person off to the side an try to figure out the root of the problem. if need be id warn/kick them if it escalated and recommend everyone drop the topic the troller had started.

OOC: Out of character: aka put an F in chat or OOF

IC: In character: Aka /radio [UNSC] Medical training hosted in medbay, closing in 5 Mins!

Pull the individuals off to the side and try to get them to come to an understanding as plotline as possible. I'd kick them if need be, but would rather settle it peacefully as possible
