What if spartan IV's were added to the server?

Now here me out before you say this is a terrible idea and it isn't but it is a game changer. Now Spartan II's were ONI, Spartan III's were Naval, but Spartan IV's were UNSC meaning they weren't tailored to a specific branch. Now you're probably thinking "what are you getting at?" what if each branch had there own spartan fireteam. First thought you will most likely get is "no that's a terrible idea!" but now let me tell you why. If each branch got there own fireteam it would basically be just outfitted to that branch. Army's team could be airborne or what ever tex would have them be. Naval's team would be like station security, protecting naval, or repairing the station. and since in lore spartan IV's are just normal troops like marines or ODST's there would be no need for PK's on them, plus they would be weaker than the other Spartans not overpowering anything really than just standard troops. I think that this would be great for the sever because not only does it add a new factor in but it moves us forward with the story and lore. I made a form post to see what others would think and anything that could go wrong with it. put a +1 or a -1 and your reason why.

Spartan IVs will be added when we reach Halo 4. We're now between Halo 3 and Halo 4.

Actually in Lore Spartan IV would Exist at this time the first spartan team was created in January 7 , of 2553 . This team was also consisted of Sarah Palmer who was recruited by Spartan June as a ODST after receiving a injury from a needler. So i could see us moving to spartan IV's without going to halo 4.

Alright when I first started reading, I was thinking "heck no" but then reviewing it and thinking it over, I think it would be perfect for a platoon point of pride, and allow for different personalities in groups.

I think the hardest sell is that ONI wouldn't have complete control of these Spartans... But I feel that this idea would be quite amazing

The Spartan Corp basically works how ODSTs work with ONI. ONI in lore advises ODSTs and the Spartan Corp. They're both apart of the Naval Special Warfare Command. I think it would be interesting to have more Spartans as Spartan 4s but they would essentially wipe out ODSTs because they'd basically be the same.

Joking aside, Spartan fire teams would be anywhere from 3-5 following lore, so I'd hardly say they would replace. they'd more represent the highest point of each faction.

Actually spartan IV’s would already be here since they were first created in 2553 in January 7. We just didn’t get to meet them til halo 4 .In game the date in 2554.

I think we’re all missing out on the point that by the time Spartan IVs are introduced, Spartans are completely their own branch, within the UNSC, similarly to how the Air Force and the army is its in own branch within the UNSC. What this means is that if we were to go for something like this, it may not be what you described as every branch having its own fire team, and we’d be back to square one simply due to Spartans not choosing to be apart of one branch or another.
Also, with more Spartans comes more responsibility on the leadership positions within the Spartan branch, as I am almost certain that they would not leave the commanding of Spartans to branch leaders, although they are all completely component leaders on their own.
As a final point, although wile wouldn’t technically be moving the timeline, we would still be moving the timeline just off simple virtue of how things would change in terms of lore and attitude. And I don’t think I have to remind anyone what happens when we move the timeline. *Cough cough* R.I.P. Dionysus, we miss you *Cough cough*

My thought process was that they would be more akin to noble team, in that they would be assigned under a specific branch (in Noble's case, Army) and hold positions there/Answer to branch officers. Perhaps they could remain Spartan threes, and be given SPI armor vs full MJOLNIR armor given to other spartans. So they would be more akin to small team ODSTs than High Tier Spartans we have today. Heck, having them without shields would be very interesting indeed

I will give a little free chicken in this sense that Spartan IV's are being discussed to a degree and will come when we jump in the timeline. however. The Spartan "Branch" will be true to its individuality. More Details to Follow.
