Any info we should know about you(Something that may effect staffing): I work Full-time and am attending college, but still am managing good up-time.

Tell us About Your-self(60+ Words, No Less): I am whoever I want to be. I really like to view myself as an easy to like person, and so I fit myself to that image until I see something that conflicts my morals. I want to see the people around me have a good time and make sure no-one impedes upon that. Empathy and logic are always my first two tools in a conversation.

How Long Have You Been On The Server?(Min 5 Days): 30+ days

Are you a minge or have been caught in acts of mingery?: I believe in a proper joke in the correct scenario, but no, I firmly believe SeriousRP is supposed to be serious.

Experience with staffing (ULX, other servers, etc.(Please Explain (What Servers etc)): I have staffed for old Prop Hunt and DarkRP servers in 2014 (gerbil mountain, on the off-chance anyone played it), and more recently I've staffed at a CS:go server in 2018. I am reasonably proficient with ULX and the usual Admin/Mod behavior.

Have you ever been banned from any Revival servers? If so, why? No.

How will your activity be on the server? I make an attempt to come onto the server every day for at least an hour, and when work and school is lax (2-3 days a week) I come on for 4-6 hours.

Days,Hours Of Availability(If you go inactive, for 1 weeks without LOA or letting someone know anything, you can and will be removed from staff): Hard to exactly pinpoint my days of certain availability due to school, work, and not knowing when I need to work on projects, but like I said I do put in at least an hour a day into the server.

Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words, No Less): I think that I most stand out from out candidates by believing that there are very few true minges, but most are players that can be saved. That isn't to say that player is immediately ready to come out, though. I'm an experienced gamer that can see when players are having fun and when things are unfair and unfun for people to play. Reasoning well with players and finding solutions to conflict where both parties are satisfied comes pretty easily to me. I understand that it's more important to teach and train players rather than punish and possibly lose the server's playerbase.

How do you plan to benefit the server? (60+ words, No Less): I want to support the players and the community. The main goal that I see would be for every player to have a positive RP experience and have our server stand out. This encourages a stronger playerbase, inviting more players, and building more tools for the servers and adding new servers, as seen recently with the StarwarsRP server coming out.

Explain why you stand out from others (50+ words, No Less): I'm quite friendly and love cracking jokes and super outdated references. Staying calm is number one for me, I find that it always makes situations go smoother. I like to keep things light-hearted as long as possible, but obviously when serious is needed, I absolutely will fulfill. I have a devotion to seeing everyone have fun, and I think that's important in admins. My best attribute in my opinion is my ability to adapt. I am always looking to get better at what I'm doing, and take all forms of critism.

List (5) Ulx Commands and what they do(List something other than: ban,Kick,Warn,TP,Maul,Slay,Gag,Jail,slay(Explain What They Do.)):

1. ulx armor - Typically, this command would grant armor (which reduces damage taken by 30%), but I think on this server its grants shields, as I've noted people granting it for certain tryouts.
2. ulx cexec (playername) <command> - This command allows an admin to force another player to run a command in their console.
3. ulx adduser (playername) [groupname] - This command allows admins to grant players ULX permissions, typically to give users PAC access, or their supporter permissions.
4. ulx banid (offender's steam id) {minutes} <offense> - Defaulting to a perm ban, I personally don't see this command used enough by admins on other servers, this command allows an admin to ban someone using their steamid, which you could get by using the status command. Also, if this is too close to the ban command, ulx help is another command which lists all commands you can use at your ULX permission level.
5. ulx asay/csay/tsay - These are all text related commands which provide various levels of communication. asay lets you send a message exclusively to connected admins (also creates a ticket), csay puts a message in the middle of all players' screens, and tsay sends a message to everyone through the chatbox.

Explain what minging is: Minging is doing anything that interferes with the roleplay/gamemode. This includes but is not limited to: PAC Abuse, Inappropriate use of Sit, Mic Spam, Blatantly disrupting role-play (calling freelancers spartans, ERP, RDM). Minging can often be similar to FailRP, but does not have to be.

Give one example of how you would deal with minging as staff(Give a situation in detail): It is always important for someone to first understand that they are breaking a rule. So, given a situation where a marine was using PAC to give himself a large head, I would take him aside and firmly remind him that PAC abuse is not tolerated on Revival Servers, and allow him to continue playing after he changed it. I would keep a watch on the player, to ensure no more happened, and if the case doe occur its a kick, and should the offender return and continue, its a ban for 3 days(if it was obscene/nudity, then 5 days).

Explain what FailRP is in detail: FailRP is *intentionally* abusing game mechanics/commands to escape a situation roleplay put a player into. A prime example would be a player using !noclip to escape imprisonment. This can also be a player doing things that their character wouldn't normally do, such as a marine lifting a frigate, but this is few and far between.

Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): FailRP is rarely a solo infraction. By saying this, I mean that a player is very rarely going to accidentally FailRP, because to do so means they are minging and usually exploiting. As an admin, I would hold very little sympathy for someone who is found guilty of FailRPing. Even said, I will provide the lightest and most innocent FailRP situation I can think of. Situation: An Army member uses intel that was radioed in through secured ONI comms. Admining this situation would be painful because I know that the game-makers would be relying on only ONI to use those comms, but I would feel bad on the chance the player failed to realize the message was only supposed to go to ONI. In this situation, I would let the player continue playing, but after the event, I would remind them to read the radio tag, and roleplay accordingly. This is the sort of situation where I would feel pressured to step in, but I would not to preserve immersion and player experiences.

Explain what RDM is in detail: RDM is an acronym for Random Death Matching. It consists of a player randomly deciding that another player is an enemy and attacking/killing them. It is important to note attacking as a keyword, as killing a player in self-defense is not RDM.

Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): The common example is a marine that is RDMing, so let's get spicy and have a freelancer randomly smacking down anyone that gives him lip. First RDM, I would !bring him to an OOC location (preferred location: top of MAC cannon). I would remind him that RDM can have very serious consequences both in RP and on an admin level, and then give him a kick. It's likely that being on a donation class, they would stop, but I would keep an eye on the kill-feed to see if anything else happens, and if another RDM case comes up guilty, I would execute a ban for a day and report it to the Freelancer Director.

Explain what Trolling is in detail: Trolling is be defined by causing another player(or players) grief to extract some sort of pleasure from it. It's classic schadenfreude in action, and slightly sickening when it goes too far.

Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail): We see trolling in all sorts of forms, some of it perfectly acceptable, other cases are not so good. A good situation would be between two players that are long-time friends in which one is shaming another in their pvp skill after a hard fight. This is nothing more than jargon among friends and can be safely put on the back-burner as long as it doesn't escalate.
An unacceptable form of trolling would be a player repeatedly performing actions to hurt another player to the extent that they no longer feel like playing. The appropriate move for an admin then would be to separate those players, and if the troll cannot adhere then this would move into a Disrespect case, where the ban would be between 1-5 days.

Explain what OOC and IC is(Give a situation in detail):
OOC: Out-Of-Character. Used for anything that you as a player is saying, and that your character wouldn't say/know.
IC: In-Character. This is what your character says and does, and should be serious, as it is the story we are all creating together.
What would you do if two people were fighting in OOC matters and it turned into IC matters (Give situation in detail): OOC fights are common, usually the players need time to calm themselves and think about what the real problem is. Separate them, in-game and in Teamspeak if possible. If they continue to pick at each other in chat, give mutes/kicks. If it continues, it turns into a Disrespect case, and I would need to report it to a higher admin.

+1 Well constructed application, active member on the server and I personally have seen him around, he is a good player all around. Would make a good addition to the staff team.
