Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) : I was born in space as a slave, under a Batarian pirate gang in the Terminus Systems. My mother died at child birth and my father died when I was only five years old. The first seven years of my life I was not able to do anything against my slavers. When I turned eight I picked up the knack of lock picking. At the age of nine I figured out how to pick the lock of my cell and steal food when no one looking. At the age of Twelve I started to get put into illegal cage matches to the death And learned how to make shanks out of stone. At the age of fifteen I got pitted against a Krogan and won by pure luck but left a long scar across my back. At the age of seventeen I got tired of my slavers picked the lock on my cell and killed the guard with one of my shanks, took his gun and held a pilot hostage and made him fly to Omega. When I got to Omega I killed the pilot took his gear and dissipated in Omega for a few months, there I joined up with a gang myself and became one of the ship gunners for a pirate frigate. I worked my way up in life, left the gang I was working for and started working for the Blue Suns. There I became a ship gunner for them and the guns I worked with kept getting bigger and bigger. During a fight against The Eclipse the ship I was gunning for took a direct hit and it was every man for himself. I made my way to one of the escape pods and took off alone. As I sit in the pod in open space thinking about my life decisions I got a private message with an offer to be the Captain's gunner. I smiled and replied with a yes and said to my self "Here we go again."

What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : loyal gunner as well as not go back to the life he once had. he was hired for his gunning skills.

the thing is i did rewrite the backstory and the backstory was not just my work it was also cross's work because i asked him for help on my back story we spent four hours working on it last night

I didn't ask for your reasoning, I simply stated that in order for this application to be accepted as an avid crew member, and "Weapons Operator", that you need to rewrite this application~ Simply handing out one of the most important roles on the ship solely because you played on the ZMRP is idiotic, When you're done simply respond within this thread stating that you have rewritten it, and I will look it over once more.

Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) : I was born on Luna along with my twin sister Ashley. My family were farmers. My mother was kind woman with a smile on her face all the time, and my father was a hard worker and was sweet and caring. Ever since I was little I was always interested in space, I wanted to go to the stars and explore. My sister was also interested in the same thing she wanted to explore the Milky Way. At the age of fourteen I started studying the layouts of different ships, but the part I was really interested in was the guns. At the age of fifteen my Mother and Father passed away when pirates raided our little town, it was just me and my twin sister. One of the pirates took us under his wing and raised us the rest of our childhood. When me and my sister turned sixteen we where assigned a position on the ship we were no longer kids, we were now official members of the Blue Sun pirate gang. My sister was assigned to medical due to her studying medical when she had spare time on Luna, as for me I was put on one of the gunner seats when I explained the ships weapons system in detail. Two years pass and me and my sister have just turned eighteen. Me and my sister once kids were no longer kids, It felt like our childhood flew by in FTL. We fought many battles in all kinds of different systems. We worked our way up in rankings and pay until we finally made enough to just have a simple life on the same planet we grew up on as kids. My sister had seen enough of space and wanted to settle down back on Luna, me on the other hand wanted to keep doing what I did best and that was be a ship gunner. I gave my sister all of my money that I had been saving and told her she is free to live her calm life that she wanted and that was the last time I saw her. I left Blue Sun working odd jobs as a mercenary for hire, until I got a message asking if I am willing to work in a gunner seat again. I thought about it for a few weeks and then replied with yes. Later that week I found my self standing in front of the captain of the crew that would be my new partners and a new father.
