Hello, been a while but I'll jump right into it. The proposed addon has been used previously in the server. With the health/survival gap between the Shielded players and the non-shielded players, I would like to recommend a re-introduction to the Kevlar Vests addon.
The good news? as far as I am aware the actual coding of the addon is already set into the server in all but the orion class. All classes that are supposed to spawn with it appear to still have the path as part of their job.
What this means? it just needs to be added to the server and have 2 whitelists edited and the addon is good to go. So let me break down what the addon does
In the F4 menu, marines, grunts, jackals, and skirmishers will be able to 'buy' a Kevlar vest entity once per life. when they hit 'E' on the vest, it automatically gives them a set armor based on the vest. the three vests are light, medium, and heavy armored, already distributed as they should be.
In this, Orion would need the Heavy armor added to their F4 buy menu with the same restrictions as the other classes.
The addon is found here:

With the introduction, it reduces the gap between the lowest health classes and the mid-range classes giving a bit more balance in the scale and increasing the longevity of player involvement in events or trainings.
