Hollowed
First of all let me just say.. if you had told me last year I would become obsessed with a role play server on a game I rarely played and to top it off.. it was all Halo related and Military based.. I would have told you that you were crazy. March of this year though two dear friends brought me to Revival though, and it has been a major part of my day to day life since then. Unfortunately.. I have to put an end to it for an extended period of time. I will pop in every so often and hopefully will return fully one day.. but for now it's time for space.
I have been putting this off for about two months. My muse and motivation for the server had died down, due to IRL stresses and In game stresses. I couldn't even come up with events to do for gamemakers, when just a month before I had too many idea's and was trying to pace myself so I didn't go over board. I stayed though out of a duty to one of the biggest families I had on this server, and that was the Freelancers. They had been abandoned and had no one who really felt they had the time or will to lead them. And I was voted to do so. So I stayed. I wasn't ready for it though. I have been told I have the capacity to lead but I need more time to learn to do so. And I knew this myself, and so I made a tough decision. I stepped down and gave it back to Montana, who thankfully had just come back. Once that position was taken from me.. I was back to where I had been before I took it, even more so at that point did I just want to not get on. And so.. I am leaving Revival for an extended period of time. I want to be able to hop on and have fun.. and right now I just am not finding that same enjoyment.
I want to thank all of you who have welcomed me since the moment I joined, and the friends I made along the way.
Zaroom / Nel - You were the second person I met on this server, and to this day you still remain one of my close friends. You are a great friend, and have wonderful and fun personality.. from your tiny grunt who wanted cans, to your Section 3 who helped revive the AI's for quite some time. You made my time here fun.
Montana - You are one of the few who taught me what it actually means to lead. You were straight with me no matter what, and you are a down right jerk, and own up to it. It is actually a great quality though. It was through you that I knew what I needed to do and what was the right step for the freelancers, and also you who tried to help push me to be better, So thank you.
Apollo / Hades / Achilles / Tosh - You gave me a chance I never thought I would have. You gave me hope that I could achieve much more than I thought I could. You believed in me, and you treated me as family. And I will forever be eternally grateful for that. Eclipse will always have a special place in my heart because of all of you. Veni, Vidi, Vici.
Zeus - You sir, have taught me too much that is is scary. We only really started talking when I became Eclipse. I was too scared and shy to approach any of you before that. You taught me so much in that little time that I will forever remember. At one of the most challenging times in my life.. who knew some random person on some random game would have the exact story and exact words I needed to push through an incredibly difficult phase of my life. You did though. And I will forever be thankful for that.
Freelancers - There are too many of you to name, too many of you who impacted me, and too many that I care about. I just want to say through all the minges, through all the moments we were told we weren't good enough, and through all the changes we've head since I got here.. we were family. You are my family. I'm sorry I wasn't ready, but I tried because I didn't want to see you guys go without a leader once again. I was tired of us being on the back burner. I wanted more for all of you. And you are still getting it with Montana being back, which all I wanted. Caboose, Cardiac, Grey, Venom.... You four above all else were the best of the best. Thank you for the fun times, the laughs, the vents, and everything in between.
I won't dare make a list of family because I have a terrible memory at times and always forget someone I would REALLY want to mention. You know if you were my family. You know if you would have made my list. I will see you around.
