Hello, my name is Bertinox. Im a 14 year old Portuguese male.
Even though im not native british or american, I can speak english well, rarely having spelling/other language issues.
I've been with the Revival Community (More specifically SCP RP) for almost an entire year (will be a year next month), and I play A LOT of Garry's Mod, currently I have 4226 Hours on Gmod (Rip my life).
Next school year I'll be in 10th grade, currently trying to pass at everything so I can follow a position involving biology when im older.
Why do you wish to join the forum staff team? (50 words minimum):
I wish to join the forum staff team for two main reasons.
Im usually very active on the SCP Forums (Which is why I would preffer to be assigned to SCP if possible).
Another reason is, after I saw that I have been in Revival for almost a year (most time I have ever been in a Gmod community), I figured that I wanted to help the community more. I previously applied and got accepted into Staff and Gamemaker SCP Teams, but I still wish to help Revival off the server.
What can you bring to the Forum Staff? (80 words minimum):
Even though I have little to no experience in forum management/staffing, I still wish to, at least, try and help the community and its forums.
Im eager on learning everything there is to know on how to be a good forum staff. I will be highly active, checking the forums I am assigned to/shout box whenever I can to catch and punish any breaker of the Forum Rules.
I have, also read all the rules/handbook/training doc, and I plan to re-read it so I can perform my assigned duty as better as I can.
Why should you be picked over other applicants? (80 words minimum):
Well, I know that there may be better applicants who which/are applying for the same position I am applying for as well, most likely having more experience in forum managing and/or staffing than me.
However, like I said above, I am very eager to learn everything I can and equally eager to go out and help the Revival Community, as well as I will be as active as I can on the forums im assigned to or shout box, and I will do my best to make sure the Forum Rules are followed and enforced at all times, and that anyone who breaks them will be punished according to them.
Do you staff on any other servers?:
Yes. I am currently a Senior Gamemaker for SCP RP
How active will you be on the forums? (Realistically):
I check forums every day, usually when I wake up, and through the entire day.
I am, however, not very involved with the Shout Box. If this application is accepted, I will be paying more attention towards it
Do you go to school/college/university? (For activity purposes):
Yes, I go to school. My timezone is W.E.T. (Western European Time), so it should't affect my activity much (School wise)
How active will you be on the community’s TS?:
Im currently not that active on TS, only going if Im called or during meetings. If needed, I will attempt to be more active in it

Situational questions:
1. You get on the forums to find out two sides arguing and fighting over something that really isn't clear what it may be what do you do? (50 words recommended)
I would tell them that any discussions/fighting they had to do to keep them in DMs, if they ignored me and kept arguing on wherever they were arguing, I would warn them both (only one of them if one stopped but the other tried to continue it).
I would then read what they were arguing about and deal with it according to the forum rules. If I had any issues understanding/dealing with it I would try to call another forum staff for some help.
2. You are looking through a few threads and find some non-SFW (Safe for Work) words used in a post, what do you do? (Normal Swearing is OK I mean harsh profanity) (50 word recommended)
I would immediatly delete the post, and, depending on what kind of words/how many/if aimed at someone in specific or community, I would ban the user for an ammount of time for the use of NSFW words (23# Rule of Forum Rules)
3. If you are also staff for a server as a mod and the SM is being verbally abusive to people in the shoutbox using racial slurs and calling them any sort of unpleasant names, what would you do? (50 word recommended)
I would warn and/or ban the Server Manager (I think thats what you meant by SM) from SB for verbally misstreating people (18# and 21# Rules on Forum Rules).
If I would then get kick/misstreated/warned/banned on the server, or threatened to be done that by said SM, I would immediatly contact his/her higher up for a propper punishment to be done.
4. What would you do if someone (player/staff and/or yourself) is being harassed on the forums? (80 word recommended)
That depends, if its on Shout Box, I would immediatly warn (Player) (18# and 21# Rules of Forum Rules) or ban him/her (Staff/Me) (25# Rule of Forums Rules), and verbally warn that any more issues of that kind would result in a ban/longer ban.
If it is in a post, I would immediatly delete the post/comment, and warn/ban the person according to the severity/people being harrassed.
