Can Someone Please help me with this

So i logged on today and everything went normal until i went to switch to my spartan job. As soon as i switched, my game started to lag and eventually froze as if the map was going to change. The weird part about it is that my spartan character was present and responding to my keys in the cryo area but my camera made it seem as if i was still a recruit. Its also weird because whenever we are on an event map, everything works normally. It is only on station where this problem is present.

Edit: the leaderboard does not finish loading for some reason and also im not sure why but when i fire my weapon purple smoke comes out of it which is weird seeing as i have all of the content packs.

The purple smoke is easy to fix, you go to Q menu>options>TFA>Performance

I'm not sure about the leaderboard issue, I recommend going to your steam library, right click garry'smod>properties>local files>verify integrity of game files...
If that doesn't work you might have to remove any subscribed addons that aren't to do with the server, delete all your files inside your addons folder (steam>steamapps>common>garrysmod>garrysmod>addons) and then verify again(even when you unsub from a addon on the workshop, it's still in your folder for god knows why, so you have to manually remove all addons when you want to get rid of them completely from your computer), wait for it to redownload the addons that are needed and launch the game, let workshop re-integrate the addons and you should be good to go, I could think of a few other ways, but that should fix it.

If none of this works you could try Factory Reset Gmod this will pretty much reset all of your Gmod Data
To do this would be
Steam > Steamapps > Common > Gmod
And you should find a folder in Gmod called "Factory Reset-Gmod" that will reset Gmod Enterily. Use this as a last resort for the problem though as you'll have to redownload all the addons again for the server.

That is one of the quickest ways to fix it, if you can put up with the redownload time and all that stuff, so if you are 100% can't be arsed anymore to waste anymore time trying to fix it, just do what Cadet said.

I'd recommend at this point to just uninstall gmod, manually delete all of gmod and it's files('cause even after uninstalling it keeps alot of data), then reinstall it, verify and start it back up, this is pretty much my last option.
[doublepost=1527447564][/doublepost]Sorry to bump this post, but it is now relevant again, I am too suffering from this issue now after playing on the server for over a month.
My scoreboard now only loads people that are near me(like if I'm in the SSR, I can only see people that are in the SSR and recruit room), as I move throughout the map, each time I enter a new area for it to render, it lags out for like 8-12 seconds with a disconnect message in top right corner then comes back once it is done loading, (like a game loading a new area, but poorly).
It also causes issues with microphone voice updating, as it relies on real time updates to relay the voice, it makes people cut in and out constantly, so I can't understand anyone on microphone.
This is very much a game breaking bug, and I asked Tgon(Ozone) if he is still having this issue, which he is and has reported it to a Dev, in which he has said he won't do anything till more people report it, but to be completely honest, it is so gamebreaking it is very likely to just make someone leave. This is slowly becoming a bigger issue that should be stamped out as soon as possible before it becomes to big and too many people are leaving without saying why they left due to a game breaking bug, it is literally making my staff duties as a mod almost impossible and RP is pretty much impossible as I can't understand a word anyone says.
This is clearly a loading error/bug issue where the server isn't able to update/render things quickly enough, I'm not sure what could be causing it, but it definitely only happens when things require loading, it even removes and bugs out my PAC too.
Please fix this issue before it becomes a real problem, thank you.
