Characters Backstory :
Born December 2nd, 2153 on Earth to a single mother, Chris would spend a majority of his early childhood in poverty. It did not ever dwell to him just where his father was, even after countless times that he had asked his mother, it was almost expected that he would ask his mother the dreaded question "Mom? Why do you never tell me about my dad?" Though he did live in the poor parts of cities, sometimes moving. He did eventually grow up, and he did go attempting to find a job in the bleak future on the world of Earth. He had little luck. Soon he expanded to idea of moving to another planet, but with no money to do this, he would have to find an alternative. Soon, by the time he was 25 Years old, his mother did succumb to sickness, and he was forced into action. He spent a lot of time wondering the earth, with what little money he was given from his late mother. On the cold morning of January 21st, 2180, he was at a bank, attempting to perform credit fraud in a last ditch effort, two masked men entered the building. They were performing a robbery, and Chris was forced into the center of it. To his luck, it seemed that they had not spotted him in the back of the building. Jumping into action, he had quickly grabbed one of the assailants from his back, and but him into a choke hold. This sudden shock had caused the armed vigilante to pull the trigger on his handgun, causing a bullet to be fired right into the other criminal's head. Chris had then forced the other man down onto the ground, and held him their until law enforcement had arrived. This sudden change in action had changed Chris, he was commended for being a hero, saving lives. He felt different, like he had finally done something with his life. He sought out more opportunities, eventually coming across the Systems Alliance. It took him weeks of thinking before he was completely sure weather or not he would truly want to give up his freedom for the greater good of not just one planet, but the whole galaxy! He thought back to the one day, where he had saved many lives, and grimly thinks about how unaffected he was from getting another man killed, he had been made completely sure, that this was indeed the correct choice. He had signed up, and made it through training, spent a few years on there military, eventually deciding to then join the New Eden, and based on his combat experience, was accepted. Yet to this day, he will still ponder who his father was, and why he had left his mother...
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden?:
His over all goal is to aid those in need, and in his eyes, medic is easily one of the best jobs for his core values.
