Yes, I was in a situation where my supporter tags were removed for approximately 30 minutes, due directly to refusing to perform training for New Recruits. This was due to a rule that required all NCO's to perform training regardless if they were busy or not. Nevada was involved and acted as the rules said he should. I declined to perform training and indicated that I was involved directly in RP. My donator, supporter tags were removed and the issue was escalated to be reviewed.
MGYSGT Angus, Nevada, Verax, and I all spoke in a common channel regarding the incident. Verax advised that the rule was outdated, and should be removed, which it was. My tags were returned and I think we essentially shook hands and left it there. The rule has since been changed and additional changes regarding new recruits have since been implemented.

I have played several different games over the years. This has been my first experience with RP servers and it has been rather enjoyable so far. I played Halo starting on the Xbox back when you had to go to someone's house and assemble a spider's web of LAN, Power, and AV cables to various TV's and Xboxs I personally have 6 children, and I am expecting another within the next two weeks. I play Sea Of Thieves, Minecraft and now recently Rocket League with my kiddos when I am not playing this, Heroes of the Storm, or some of the other games I play with old college buddies. I enjoy tabletop also, my favorite being old school Battletech.

Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words, No Less):
It's tough to say exactly how I myself would be better than others. Every individual has strengths and weaknesses in different areas, as a manager at work I have to identify what strengths are present in the employees I'm given and do what I can to put that person in a position to succeed. The counterpoint is also identifying their weaknesses and doing what I can as a manager to help them in those areas.Personally, If I had to say I was "better" than others it would probably be in the area of fairness and firmness. Essentially I don't get upset when someone makes a mistake or trolls. The rules indicate X, we have to do Y. I don't have personal grudges and I hold people accountable for what they do. I am willing to use grace when I believe the situation warrants it and the person/server will be better for it.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (60+ words, No Less):
Before I became interested in this I was an admin for ARMA 3 KOTH servers. I enjoyed that quite a bit. Mainly because I enjoyed keeping the experience fun for everyone on the server and working to keep trolls and vagrants off. I've seen a lot of good folks here and I would like to do what I can to help the server stay clear of the same type of trolling so everyone can have an equally enjoyable RP experience.
Explain why you stand out from others (50+ words, No Less):
Maturity and Age. I believe I'm one of the older players on the server, with a family and several small children I have a certain degree of patience. I enjoy the game and in all honesty that's what I'm here to do. I'm here solely to have fun RP'ing as a person in the Halo Universe on some distant facility.
I have no desire to "power trip" as I have enough recognition from my wife, children, and other employees at work that I don't need to have some sort of pseudo-authority in a video game over others to feel complete.

Explain what minging is:
Minging is acting in a way that intentionally creates unrealistic situations within IC. I've always heard it as trolling but generally it's someone whose express intent is to irritate, annoy, kill, or tamper with another person and their IC experience. I feel like these people are more of the ones that walk as close to the edge as possible, trying to do just enough to annoy but try to back off when things get serious so they can continue to prolong their quest.
Give one example of how you would deal with minging as staff(Give a situation in detail):
Lets say a Marine PVT is screeching into the microphone.
The degree of Issue would honestly dictate the response however, I prefer this progression.
1) Address IC (As a SGT I would use IC verbal council, and possibly PT as necessary IC)
2) Discipline IC (If they are unwilling and disregard my orders as a supervisor, I'd attempt to get an MP to place them under arrest.)
3) MAKE line of problem management. (Should the issue continue, or if leaves to avoid punishement, then I would initiate some type of ban, as our documents would dictate.)
This would be subject to change and honestly would follow our google sheet document for recommended sentences. and before banning/kicking/etc.. have a conversation on what exactly it is they are doing and how they can change their behavior for the better,
Explain what FailRP is in detail:
I had to do some reading to see if what I thought the definition was correct. Essentially, when a person acts in a way that their character could not, or would not do in that situation.
I.E. You RP strip someones weapons and comms, they pull their own gun out anyway and fire.
Give one example and how you would deal with it As Staff(Give a Situation in Detail):
Using the situation listed above (RP has weapons stripped, uses them anyway.), I would act in the same way I indicated for minging as much as possible.
Obviously I would spend more time attempting to be certain that they understand what exactly they did. Any disciplinary actions would follow our document regarding ban lengths should they not change their behavior and continue to Fail RP. It would also depend on the scenario, if it wouldn't make sense to address something IC if it's an OOC issue then I wouldn't cross the two.

RDM is the nondescript killing and attacking other player characters or NPCs in a way that is neither necessary nor within the bounds of the RP situation.

1) Address IC (As a SGT I would use IC verbal council, and possibly PT as necessary IC. That is of course if they are not actively trying to kill someone)
2) Discipline IC (If they are unwilling to stop and continue to RDM, or if the issue is bad enough to warrant detention)
3) MAKE line of problem management. (Should the issue continue, or if they leave to avoid punishment, then I would initiate some type of ban, as our documents would dictate the length and time of.)
Predominately the goal would be to keep the RP going and not disrupt it unless it gets to the point that it is actively OOC. Again, an attempt at a conversation OOC would take place, describing the problem, and how they can fix it.

Basically, try to keep it OOC as much as possible to council the issue. Separation initially and get both sides of the story. generally it's the result of a misunderstanding on one side or the other. Everyone isn't going to get along but that doesn't mean you have to fight over it. Should the matter progress into IC I would attempt to follow the same progression I usually do. Address IC, verbal council, PT, etc.. Discipline IC, then Make via OOC. Through a ban, kick, or otherwise.
