Specific Gear, and/or abilities((Biotic abilities, Implants, and biotic abilities are application ONLY)) : RP equipment to disarm/set explosives (Nothing but a bag that i would putting in my description, wire cutters, blasting caps or the mass effect equivalent) Im not sure i would require a omi-tool for this? If i would then i guess but that isn't something i would want unless its needed

Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) :
Nikolai grew up on a human mining colony. Most of his early days where spent bringing food and water to miners as he was too small to do much work. When he grew old enough, He was immediately sent into the mines. It was a task that helped his body develop from a small skinny teen to a developed man.
About three years after he started working he began studying so he could move to the blast mining end of the job. He learned the in's and out's of demolitions (Mostly because it was easier work then being a regular miner) and spent a good amount of time working in the civilian field until he decided that the mining business didn't pay enough and enlisted in the alliance military as a demolitions expert.
His initial schooling on military grade explosives was a much more difficult task then his previous job had been. He was expected to know things that he had never been expected to know before, like individual parts of modern bombs and how to arm and disarm them. Eventually though he adapted and spent a good amount of time in the military defusing bombs and blowing shit up.
He found that during his first time in the military that the action was lackluster for the people in his field. They always kept him in the back, away from the fighting. After his initial contract expired he decided to make a living else where.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : Nikolai isn't a very patriotic person but he does realize when he is needed. He hopes that my joining new eden he can do more good then he could with the alliance.
Nikolai was more then likely hired because he has a good amount of schooling and experience in military grade explosives. He is highly trained and that is something you don't find very often in your standard mercenary
