Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) :Oriya Yeik was born on the planet of Kahje the home world of the hanar in 2163. Her father being an assassin for hire. She had a very unstable childhood her father always being away from her and her mother well her mother ended up dying when she was 12. She passed away from Kepral's Syndrome thus causing her father to quit that job early.Oriya Yeik from then on was partly normal other than her mother being gone she was content due to her father staying around now. Her father started to embrace his daughter. He started to train her in the ways of hand to hand combat for four years in many types of grappling,boxing,karate,all types of CQC's you could name she was taught. She also trained in blades during this time learning how to use a mono-molecular blade. She also learned how to use her omni-tool which she got that year when she was 13.
When she was 16 she went to a hanar school to learn more about the galaxy. There she learned about all the races and wanted to become more adventurous. She came back when she was 17 and her father trained her with his Viper and Phalanx. This was the weapons she was given when she went off on her voyage. She went to Omega first and became an assassin for hire. She earned enough money early to take a leave at the Citadel. This was after 5 years of assassin work. She went back to her homeworld first to see her dying dad. She watched his life fall away in her hands. This increased her urge to kill. She wasn't very religious though. She didn't like all the prayer shit that drell did. So she just killed for her God but didn't do the prayers. When she went to the Citadel she was captured and interrogated by C-Sec where she was released later. She was asked why she killed about 51 corporate high ups which she responded the corruptness and greed was in them. But I was not the one who killed them. So they released her and she was free. There she got upgrades to her Phalanx and Viper. She got a military grade omni while there. She also learned how to use her omni-tool better and use different applications for it. While on the citadel she took an explosives class where she learned how to use different types of explosive charges and how to diffuse bombs with her omni-tool. She also learned how to use grenades and grenade launchers while there.When the Geth attacked the Citadel she bunkered down in her apartment hoping that no Geth would find her as she was very outgunned at the time. No Geth came into her apartment and she survived the whole ordeal with only a little mental scarring.
While there she fought in the Armax Arena and earned even more money. She stayed there until the reaper war taking hits still for the right money. When she saw the reaper war begin she was very hesitant to join into it. A month in she decided it was her time to join in the fight and use her skills for good.This was mainly due to her figuring out the hanar world was devastated by the reapers. She was mad with vengeance raging in her veins. So she looked through PMC groups until she came upon New Eden. There she joined at right then and there going through a quick bootcamp that she passed with flying colors. She was recommended to the "best ship" in the fleet. So she was sent to the Prometheus where Cross decided whether or not to accept her if not she would just go to another New Eden ship.
What is your characters goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden? : Her CQC skills and vast knowledge of combat was why she was hired. Her goal is to make sure all the crew members live if possible.To instruct members how to kill to the best of abilities and overall just use her combat skills to the best.
