Explain why you're a better candidate than other candidates (75+ words): Gamemakers have little sense of good character portrayal, and all current event characters seem like paper bags with smiley faces drawn on them. I want to do better and show the team an example to follow.
How do you plan to benefit the server? (50+ words): You talkin more than I already do?
List (10) Ulx Commands and what they do(List something other than: cloak,ban,Kick,Warn,TP,Maul,Slay,Gag,):
1. ulx armor - Typically, this command would grant armor (which reduces damage taken by 30%), but I think on this server its grants shields, as I've noted people granting it for certain tryouts.
2. ulx cexec (playername) <command> - This command allows an admin to force another player to run a command in their console.
3. ulx adduser (playername) [groupname] - This command allows admins to grant players ULX permissions, typically to give users PAC access, or their supporter permissions.
4. ulx banid (offender's steam id) {minutes} <offense> - Defaulting to a perm ban, I personally don't see this command used enough by admins on other servers, this command allows an admin to ban someone using their steamid, which you could get by using the status command. Also, if this is too close to the ban command, ulx help is another command which lists all commands you can use at your ULX permission level.
5. ulx asay/csay/tsay - These are all text related commands which provide various levels of communication. asay lets you send a message exclusively to connected admins (also creates a ticket), csay puts a message in the middle of all players' screens, and tsay sends a message to everyone through the chatbox.
6. !giveammo - Gives ammo of all types to specified player or players.
7. !slap - Deals x amount of damage to the player, and hilariously boops them in a random direction, with a small amount of velocity.
8. !cleardecals - Removes decals [blood, bulletholes, paint tool] and ragdolls from all clients on server.
9. !return - Used for getting people out of your face.
10. !exit - Forces a player out of a vehicle or from sitting.
What is In character and what is Out of character? IC is what my character does/thinks. OOC is what I as a player does/thinks.
Are you willing to work with a Game Maker Team? Is no ever an acceptable answer here?
What is the purpose of a Game Maker? Provide RP for the players, usually through events or characters.
Give us a full event idea you have. ( 3 Paragraphs ) For 60% of events these days, I legitimately could just say here, I spawn NPCs, the players kill them, maybe there's a named URF event character, or ooo there's a bomb somewhere. So let's get interesting without getting too detailed.
[A little pre-setup here] Have an event character snag a Faction Head [willingly, or not] and scoot them off to a far off-planet. Briefing commences about 30 minutes or so later, long enough for everyone to notice that Lead's name has changed. Briefing, "we've tracked his neurals out to [so and so planet], go get em!" [I'm not writing out a real script for the app, sorry boys.]
UNSC and friends get there, I paste my dupe that I made like an hour before so that the server isn't sitting there for half an hour while crap is getting built. Event characters or not, when the troops get there, the URF fight for a few moments, then propose an offer for surrendering the Lead in return for rations and weaponry and peace on the day. Here is where things get fun. So if the UNSC doesn't take the offer, then the URF begin calling them for warmongering and refusing a surrender and threaten WMD from the other side of the planet [hinting at possible second map, if the players persue] if the UNSC don't retreat their troops, as well as the URF launching a reinforcements call from 3 defensive locations.
Should the UNSC take the offer, ofc it's a trap to attempt to assassinate the party bringing the ransom, and when they arrive, they would find the Lead, shackled to a bomb, wired to a proximity detector inside the Lead's kidneys. If the Lead goes more than 15 feet from the device, everyone in the room NPK, except the Lead themselves [but they don't know that], if the bomb goes off, they could search the rubble to find the lead as the sole survivor. There's two ways to handle this situation, first to simply defuse, and the other to take the proximity device out of the Lead.
Did any current Gamemaker refer you to apply? If so who? Bravo
I <Ender> Agree and understand that i am not staff, and it is not my job to do staff duties, unless there is 0 staff on i will not use my commands unless needed. I also agree that i will not noclip/abuse my powers.
I, <Ender>, acknowledge that this application is to be filled out with complete honesty. Being accepted will hold me at a higher standard in behavior and demeanor. Not doing my job or abusing will result in an instant demotion.
I,<Ender>, Swear to uphold the server rules, and enforce them.And to stay within the limits and rights given to me by my assigned rank within GM's.And to keep a calm head and clear judgement when dealing with staff and or players, in order to ensure fairness to all who join the server.
And that if i <Ender> am found in violation of the rules i swore to uphold, and of this contract that i can and will be removed from GM's and or staff and forever barred from Re-Applying, along with any other Consequences that are deemed Necessary.
