Characters Backstory((The longer, and more detailed the backstory, the most likely you will be accepted.)) :
Stryker was born on May 5, and was born with a rare ability. It is called Asari, the real term is bionics. When she was 3 years old, she cried on day at home and an energy came from her body as it pushed all the object around her. The housekeepers told what was going on and Stryker’s parents thought they were seeing things as they were explaining that this is a gift, she should use and learn at a young age. When she was 5 years old she was at school and was bullied at the school by a lot of the students. When she made her being bullied she got tired of it and a blot of energy goes around her and she throws the bullies away from her and on the ground. She froze and started to shake as her body tries to move. She was taken by security and taken to the principal’s office. She had her parents come in and they did not care about anything that the principal had to say. The principal told Stryker’s parents that this is a serious matter and should not be taken lightly. The principal told the parents that Jess needs to go to the hospital or get help by a therapist.
Her parents did not listen so the housekeepers had to help with taken Jess to all the classes and hospitals to figure out what is going on. One day she found out that she was born with bionics, and she was told by doctors that it happens in one out of ten eezo-exposed infants will develop biotic talents. This ability is dangerous in some cases and if not used correctly will harm or kill others around them. When she was about 7 and 8 is started to be like a way for her to understand who and what she can do. So she went and researched at different areas as her household workers were helping her travel and go places. When she was 12 she found an academy and a private facility that took her in and studied her abilities and what she is capable of. As the years went by she learned how to make objects move by just thinking of it moving. She also learned to go thru people's head’s and talk to them. She stayed at the academy until she was 16 and was told they did all that they can and gave her an option. Jess either goes and finds a job or work place that will accept her for who she is or join the military academy. Before she went to choose what she wanted to do she went to a boxing match and wanted to fight a Asari. She challenged the Asari to an expedition match. While she was fighting she got her left arm pinned. So she tried to take a swing and the Asari snapped her arm and broke the arm to the shoulder. When it snapped, Jess screamed in pain as the medics rushed over and took her to the hospital. When she was going in for surgery she saw that her left arm was completely gone. The hospital took off her arm and she went it for surgery. As they did the surgery, she could feel as they attached her new bionic arm. She could feel as the energy moved from her body and around her arm. When she was cleared to leave the hospital she found a recruitment facility and signed up for the academy. So, she wanted to join the academy and trained for 6 months their getting used to how combat works. She trained in hand to hand combat and went thru a couple months of flight and navigation schools while she was at the academy.
While she was training in the academy she learned how to help with navigation with her mind. She learned how to also change a certain object's shape and make it into something new. She can also see visions and can see into the future. When she left the academy she found a way to join in full time and signed up and in that time of waiting she has trained for about a year and is ready to join the ship of New Eden. As she waits she starts to help people around the academy as she waits for her chance to get aboard the ship. She helps people by setting up classes and helping people by seeing what they are struggling with and people felt better after going to her classes. She studied more about the minds of others, rather than trying to use her powers to just see into them. She goes and fixes their minds from the inside out by showing them what they can do to help their situations. As she sees the visions she can feel what the person is feeling and acting like when she see into them. She can make it so into your mind she can make you feel as if she is showing you a path and guiding you to the best way out of that situation.
What is your character's goal aboard the ship? Why were they hired by New Eden?: Councilor, a person to help watch over the mindset of others aboard the ship. Also called a therapist in a way of looking into their mind. If needed I will be the secondary translator, when their is a malfunction.
