Experience with staffing [ULX, other servers, etc.]: i was once a gm/admin with berrys legendary halo rp. a while back. i remember a good amount of the ulx but would like some refreshers every now and then
How active are you on the server?: i am active almost everyday After my classes.
When are you usually available? [Days of Week/Time/Time zone]: Monday Wednesday and Friday i have class from 7:30 - 11:30. Tuesday and Thrusday i have class from 7:30-15:00 mountain standered time. i currently have weekends off because i was laid off of work.
What do you believe to be your best qualities that can contribute to being a Gamemaker?: My best qualities would be having a creative mind. Always liking to tell a story and put them to paper and make them come true having other players experience my events
What do you plan to do as a Gamemaker?: [50+ Words] As a game maker, i plan to do event specif to each specail regiement such as spec ops, rangers. naval and ground vechs units. i also want to make sure that each faction on the server will not feel like they are being left out of the event and got the bad end of the stick. i want to make people feel immersed into the event that i will create and take ideas of people if they want to see something in a event and do my best to implement it in or make a event around that idea. along side with mini event during downtime.
What 10 Commands do you know about that are in SAM and what exactly do they do?:
- !bring (name) this will bring the person to your location that your targeting
-!goto (name) this will tp you to the player your targeting
-!slap (name) (damage) this will hit your targeted player and can adjust the damage to the slap
-!mute (name) target the person who you are trying to deafen. this will be voice chat and text. he will be muted to the whole server
-!god (name) this will make you invincible or who you target
-!unmute (name) this will let the player use the chat and voice chat after muting them
-!ungod (name) this will revert the god mode on the player who you had goded
-!jail (name) this will put the person you targets into a (admin) jail where they wont be able to escape from and hold them in their current possition
-!kick (name) (Message) this will kick the player who you targeted from the server and they will be able to rejoin
-!ban (name) (Time in seconds) This will ban the targeted player from the server for the amount of time you had put in for
What is In character and what is Out of character?: In character/IC is everything that happens to or within that character. such as shooting an ally or stealing a car without your higher ups permmision. out of character/ooc is all that is not in game. that wont effect the persons character. such as typing in ooc using .// or // or /ooc.
Do you believe you are able to work with a myriad of different people, some of which may have different opinions than yours?: i know i will be able to work with other people who will think diffrently than i do. along side working with others, i can receive different ideas and criticism to better my abilities as a gm.
What do you believe the job of a Gamemaker entails?: the Job of Gamemaker is to make creative events for the server, more for the people who play on the server, to make a fun and immersive experience for the player based of the Game and lore of Halo. Also to make it very exciting and so they would want to be in more event and be more active on the server
Give us a full event idea that you have. [3+ Paragraphs]:
briefing will be telling the troops that we had a Ally frigate crash on a dessert world. Not too many people live their which will make this a odd situation we are called to. Even more the ally ship did not send out any type of distress signal. we will be sending our forces in to scout the area and try to make any contact with anyone out there. Get an idea what happen to that ship. the current status is unknown. many attempts were made to contact the captain. no attempts were successful. Plans will be made on the way for the troops to scan certain sectors around. Once the area is secured a FOB will be made near the ship for any men still alive. medical will be on standby, ready for anything.
Tasking will be for spartans, ODST, and any other units able to drop, will go down first. they will scout the area before touching the ship. special tasking for oni will be to set up a section of the FOB and gather top secret Intel that was aboard the frigate. no one else can know about the contents of the cargo. (intel about flood experiments but no flood was on the ship). once a perimeter was set up and clear. the main force will go ahead and land and set up a FOB. Once all is set all oni personal will enter the ship and collect the data. marines and army will set up and watch alpha sector. SoS and HOJ will set up and watch sector bravo. Spartans will split up in fire teams and patrol a large perimeter around the sectors and downed frigate making sure no one sneaks up. (will try to have some event char inside the downed ship and around far out around the sectors) Odst and all other not listed will set up and watch sector charlie.
when the sectors are set up oni will go in find a crew mate. the crew mate will be almost mentally unstable. mumbling under his voice. one of oni should escort him out and comfort him to the FOB. once oni got their intel and set up to leave Hidden cloaked urf will pop out of hidden spots and ambush oni and at the same time a urf sniper will kill the crew mate with a sniper, one shot one kill. once the ambush begins they will call to a small fleet of urf to slip space in and assualt the troops station outside. One of the urf ships will jam comms from ground forces to command. to destroy the jamming radio. naval will need to destroy the ship that has the jamming gear and if enough naval are on their will be a naval battle happening over head. if no naval are on, the urf fleet will still slip space in. (total of 3 urf frigates.) the battle will rage on with URF ground force landing in. along side with urf air assets bombarding unsc fix positions. IF naval are on they will win the naval battle with heavy damage but is barely able to slip space back to base (homeworld) if no naval the unsc ships will take some damage and evac will be immediately and must be done swiftly by all ground units.
on the ground there will be scattered unsc equipment such as boxes, air and ground vech, displaced sandbangs and other barricades. there will be a materialzed box next to the down frigate acting as a rp box for the oni to go into. (mostly likly a long hallway for the ambush. the data they find will be 3 tac pads along with a medium size oni box with paper records. the box/hallway shall be set up with barricades set up in a defensive posture. UNSC will be able to take the supplies around the down ship and use them for the FOB/ defenses.
Did any current Gamemaker refer you to apply?: wanted to be a gm for a long while now to help the server and talked to fear and he said they needed more gm and he gave me the final push of encouragement to aplly
